CQuartz High Spots After One Week

I washed the car with reset yesterday and two things I noticed with the locations I hand polished the high spots. Reset soap acted different with more of sheeting than beads of soap. Second was when I dried the car, those locations has more residue. Planning to tape them off, clay, polish...

CQuartz High Spots After One Week

No. That’s what I’m looking to do now. Just touch up those areas given the rest of the car just had the coating applied.

CQuartz High Spots After One Week

So the car has been in the garage pretty much since I put CQ+gliss on. As noted above I just hand polished off a few high spots. When I took the car out the other day it wasn’t suppose to rain, but my luck as usual it did a little. What was interesting is that the beading was crazy, but I...

    Cquartz UK 3.0 Prep

Ha ha. I’ve had the car in a number of times and always tell them don’t wash it. This time the service provider just beat me to it. He said when he saw the car he knew that I didn’t want it washed.

    Cquartz UK 3.0 Prep

I had the car to the dealer today and I didn’t say anything, but the service advisor said I will be telling them not to wash the car because its ridiculously clean.

    Cquartz UK 3.0 Prep

I just did my first run with ceramic two weeks ago, and used UK 3.0. I did the following; Wash IronX Foam Wash Clay Polish with M205 (because I had it) 2xeraser wipe down 2 x CQ UK 3.0 (45 min to 60 min apart) 1 x Gliss (4h after CQ UK) Couple tips from my first experience with it. Eraser...

Cquartz UK or DLUX for wheels

I have searched around and plenty of threads where people state you can use either, but DLUX has higher heat protection of 800F. Does anyone have experience using both as a comparison? Anyo e know what the heat protection limit is for CQ UK? Is one easier to apply on wheels (black painted...

CQuartz High Spots After One Week

There was only two that really were visible from most angles outside. I wish I had left the rest alone looking back, as they were pretty hard to see.

CQuartz High Spots After One Week

It was alarming how easy. Just a dab of M205 on a hand applicator pad and maybe 5 seconds of circular polishing by hand. Immediately buffed and they were gone. As I mentioned, the coatings were only on there 6 days so I’m not sure if that allowed it to buff easier. After seeing three...

CQuartz High Spots After One Week

Once back in the garage I can see the spots I polished on the black roof. So I’m ordering another CQ UK. I need to do my wheels and was going to use DULX but I’ll just use CQ. I know it was CQ in a few spots because it was the rainbow color, and not white like gliss.

CQuartz High Spots After One Week

Last weekend I applied 2x CQuarts UK 3.0 and Gliss. I was out of town all week so the car sat in the garage. This weekend I pulled it out as it was overcast and cool so I wanted to apply DLUX to trim. once outside I found 5 or 6 small high spots when looking in one particular angle. I tried...

Suggestions for applying Ceramic in Honeycomb grille

Wondering if anyone has suggested ways of applying a ceramic to a plastic grille that had probably 100-150 small holes about 1/2” wide and 1/2” deep. The Grille is all clean and ready, and I have DLUX to apply. just trying to think of an easy way to apply and buff. Best I can come up with is...

    Cquartz uk cure then gliss

I can only say that the amount of slickness between CQ3.0 and Gliss was significant. Pulling the MF across the trunk from CK3.0 to Gliss area was night and day.

    Cquartz uk cure then gliss

No, never tried it but now that you describe the process I won’t be for this purpose. I thought it may be an easier application than CQ or DLUX because you spray it.

    Cquartz uk cure then gliss

I was thinking of just spraying reload to properly apply. Easier than applying by hand with DLUX. Then whenever I wash just spray on grill when wet as a drying agent. I have an upper and lower Grill with as many holes but smaller. That’s why I’m trying to figure out how to easily do it and...
