I've tried Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish, McKee's 37 Fast Polish. and Optimum Metal Polish. Honestly, they all work well.
Here are my reviews on the first two products:

How many inches are your lake country pads?
The Griot's BOSS polishers (G21 or G15) uses backing plates specific to the polisher but you can use your existing pads for it. The BOSS pads are just designed to work with the BOSS polishers but you'll be fine with your pads.
I would highly suggest...
I'm currently using th XMT polishing pad cleaner. I got them on BOGO before the brand transitioned to McKee's. Here's my review on it:

I asked Nick@McKees37 if this is the same as the McKee's 37 polishing pad cleaner and he said they made slight improvements...
I asked that same question because the product description in the bottle says "pre-waxing glaze". Here's Michael Stoops' answer to my question:

I've used and reviewed both. Here are my reviews of each product:

Review: McKee’s 37 Plastic Trim Restorer
They're different products.. The BLACKFIRE All-In-One Trim & Tire Protectant is an "AIO" which means it has built-in cleaners in it...
I agree..
I use D156 myself but like what pro 4x said, any spray wax will do. So just use whatever spray wax you're using on the body since you have it out already.
If it was me, I'd be perfectly fine with the LC and Griot's BPs you have. In fact, I've used LC BPs with my B&S pads without any problems. The only pad I know that's sensitive to the BP is the Meg's Microfiber pads.
Ron,
The 2' x 2' is a suggested working area when compounding and polishing. That's actually the maximum area you want IMO. I usually work in an 18" x 18" area. You can change it based on how much you want to concentrate removing the defects you're after.
Everything is trial and error...
