So I guess their's no real benefits in using a DA as opposed to a rotary ? How about for applying LSP's ?

    Should I buy a DA polisher ?

Hi everyone The more time I spend on this forum the more I wonder if I should buy a DA polisher. I already own a couple of circular polishers and know how to use them. But I have never tried a DA. So I would like to know if their would be any beneffits in getting a DA since I already have...

Why wipe on/wipe off is not going to save you time...

OC I agree with you because being efficient matters when you are doing it for money. But now that I do it for fun being efficient is not that important anymore. Having an excuse to spend more time on my car is what matters now lolll !

    ColorX

Hi everyone I think I had a brain fart yesterday. I was looking at my new/used caliber that I just bought from the dealer. I had told the salesman not to touch it (Dealership detailers are not awarded the time or meterials to do a proper job) but they tried to buff it anyway. So as I looked at...

    My Bodyshop Nightmare!!!!!!

Unfortunatlly a lot of bodyshops don't seem to know their trade. I had one that put a about three inches thick of bondo on my car. When it started to flake off, I made time and fixed it myself. I thought I would save time by going to a body shop after a bad accident, guess I was wrong lol...

    Rotary buffer experience...

I would say if you were looking for a Flex or a Rotary, why not just get the Flex Rotary? I agree I don't understand this whole debate of rotary versus DA. I learned to buff cars with a rotary (B&D buffmaster and then air powered polishers) and from what I hear on this site, I would never...

    Poorboy's world & rotary

thanks guys for your replies but today I went out and tried their products on my girlfriend's black 2002 civic (in a semi-shaded area of my driveway) I figured that I could not make it worst than it is (was). I did a short prep (wash), skipped the clay, and started with ssr1, rewashed the car...

    Poorboy's world & rotary

    which wax for silver

hi Silver will never shine as much as well done black car but it will never look as bad as a neglected black car. It's a great color if you don't want to waste time to maintain it. Then again if you on this forum you're probably as crazy as me lol.

    detailing for money or fun

It’s funny how detailing for money and detailing for fun are different. Now that I do it for fun I seem to actually enjoy it a whole lot more. So I thought I would compare the two. Detailing for money You’re on the clock The costumer is never satisfied You work on awesome cars You work on...

    Rotary buffer experience...

I used to detail professionally and always used a rotary so I don’t know what kind of results u can get with a PC. But a rotary is, I think, the way to go because you need to generate some heat for some products to work.
