What leather conditioner/last step product do you guys use on LEATHER SEATS?

So I have had pretty good results with CLEANING leather seats with a combination of Folex, steam, and brushes. My question is concerning what leather CONDITIONER or final product you guys apply to leather seats AFTER they are clean. I currently use "Chemical Guys Sprayable Leather Cleaner &...

Hard water spots help... with everything.

Not trying to jack the original posters thread, but I also struggle with water spots on glass. I have used a water spot remover polish made by Chemical Guys that was barely effective and even have found that CarPro spotless won't even touch them. What do you professionals do???

If you had to start from scratch.....?

I would have bit the bullet and bought the largest containers (most of these come in gallon size) I could find of the following: EXTERIOR - Meguiar's M205 Ultra Finishing Polish - Meguiar's M105 Ultra-Cut ompound - Menzerna SF4000 or SF4500 Super Finish - Menzerna FG400 Fast Gloss Compound -...

Testing 2" Pneumatic DA Polisher (Video)

So I just made a nice little order on Buff Daddies website. Along with picking up some 2" foam pads, I also picked up some 3" foam backed sanding discs (no 2" sanding discs are made to my knowledge). Could I use a Mirka 3" soft-faced interface pad on the 2" backing plate that comes with the...

    Cleaning inst. cluster lens

Another vote for Plexus and 1Z. Also good tip from MarkD51 about spraying the cloth rather then directly on the gauge face to prevent any moisture getting behind the gauge cluster lens.

Mytee S-300 Tempo Carpet Spotter Extractor

I worked on a 2004 F-150 this past weekend that had heavily soiled cloth seats. I went about it using the tools/chemicals that I typically use and have available (Megs APC+, Folex, small McCulloch steamer, and a Rigid 6HP vacuum). I ended up going over the seats many times and was still not...

Thanks for posting that link. Some good info on that "Detailing Addict" site.

Testing 2" Pneumatic DA Polisher (Video)

After reading your review, I decided to take a chance and purchase this small polisher. I was also eyeing the TA50, but at $300 I just can't put that kind of money into something that isn't an absolute NEED (I detail part time). I know Harbor Freight tools aren't known for their quality, but...

    HOW TO: Gtechniq EXO V2

Nice video! I have been wanting to try Gtechniq, but as under the impression that it was complicated to apply. Isn't there another spray or step that you have to apply after the coating cures? From your video it looks to apply just like Opti-Coat 2.0 (the only coating I have experience with)...

A detailers review to Hyper dressing vs CG new car shine

I use Megs Hyper dressing on wheel wells and engines. Love the price per ounce. So from you experience what dressings have longevity?? That is something I am looking for.

    Which APC?

Meguiars D108 Super Degreaser is an amazing product and GREAT $ per an ounce. It's strong enough to clean wheels, tires, engine bays, and undercarriages diluted at 4:1. I also use it on some interior areas diluted 10:1. Probably the only other APC that can match D108s performance and match it's...

Headlight Restoration- Give me the Basics!

In fact, if I had to do it over this would be the kit I would go with: 3M Lens Renewal Kit, headlights polish, plastic headlight polish, polish plastic lens, plasic polish scratch remover $24 for all you need as long as you have a decent drill to use. I'm still not sure about buffing using...

Headlight Restoration- Give me the Basics!

I am by no means an expert or veteran (only restored 3 headlights so far), but I think sanding is the way to go. I bought a Wolfgang kit that was pretty high dollar that just included polishes to remove the oxidation and no sand paper/discs. It didn't work at all for me. Possibly the polish...

    Opti-Coat Cure Time....cutting it close

Thanks so much for the replies guys!! All that worrying and now he is perfectly ok with leaving it till Monday. It was even his suggestion. I'm going to just to be on the safe side. It definitely can't hurt to prolong the time it sees rain and it will give me a little more time to do some final...

    Opti-Coat Cure Time....cutting it close

I'm a little nervous about the current Honda Pilot that I am working on. I have gotten behind due to some extra polishing so I just finished applying the Opti-Coat 2.0 tonight. Reason that is making me nervous is because the owner is coming to pick it up TODAY (Sunday) at 1:00 and it is HIGHLY...

What do you guys use to give your customers a lasting sealant/wax?

I've had great results from DP Poli-Coat. Easy to apply and a pretty good $ per ounce at $30 for a 32 ounce bottle. As far as ease of application, the spray sealants are probably the way to go. Such as CG V7 or Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Paint Sealant ($$$), but I wonder about the...

    Opti-Coat on VINYL?

Opti-Coat curing time Thanks guys! I figured it was, but wanted to make absolutely sure before taking the job on. Not related to my original question, but I'm a little nervous about the current Honda Pilot that I am working on. I have gotten behind due to some extra polishing so I will have to...

    Opti-Coat on VINYL?

I have a quick and probably dumb question...haha. I have a returning customer that wants to apply a coating on his vinyl wrapped trailers for his shaved ice business. Since Opti-Coat is what I have experience with (though I do want to try 22ple) it can be applied to vinyl just like...
