I usually clean the wheelwells with APC, various brushes dipped in soap and water and then after the wash I dress the wheelwells with Hyperdressing or All Season Dressing.

Why not just ask them not to wash your car? Or put a note in the car that says do not wash.

I am really tempted to try this product. I like how clear and glossy and LSP ready that finish looks. Sure would be nice to work with a cleaner/polish you can let dry.

For mild cleaning, soap and water. But for serious work my preffered chemicals are Meguiars Wheel Brightener, Super Degreaser, and All Purpose Cleaner.

Looks much cleaner, although it does look like it needs to be followed up with a dressing.
