    thinking of buying porter cable

I wax and seal by hand, but polish with the PC. Polish only when you deem it necessary, however it should not be a monthly thing if you use a good wash technique i.e. the two bucket method. There are a slew of pad cleaners and pad washers that are very effective at removing residual product on...

    Window Tinting

^ a one piece rear is a must have on any car. It can be done it just requires more time. The black dots i.e. dot matrix on a cars front and back windows can be solved by sanding them down to crate a bit of tooth for the tint to adhere to, or introducing a vinyl strip to the dot matrix and then...

Secrets for maintaining black front bumper

It used to bother me to no end having semi's kick up loose gravel pieces and here them ping my bumper, hood, an windshield on I-95. With a DD, you just have to allow for some normal wear and tear. Leaving the dealership without a clear bra installed has been my only regret.

    Public Speaking project!

It seems like you got a good plan of attack. Being nervous is good, it keeps you on your toes. I'm sure you'll do fine since you are speaking about a topic you are passionate about. Suggestions: Maybe pass some pads around so the class can feel the difference in density each pad has. Bring...

    New Foam Gun!

I picked up the quick disconnect at Home Depot. All brass construction just like the one on the gun, I believe it was made by craftsman

    New Foam Gun!

Yes, but adding an additional one from the hose end to the pistol grip will allow you to flood or spray super easy without unscrewing it all the time.

    New Foam Gun!

Yes I have the autogeek one. It twists so you can shoot it at various angles. By yourself a quick disconnect, it will simplify things a lot. I suggested the ONR because I have hard water and it helps a lot.

    New Foam Gun!

Yes the different settings will vary the amount of foam produced. When used as a presoak don't wet your car first, it helps the foam to cling a little longer. I also like to add a squirt of ONR to the wash bucket and canister to help soften the water.

    New Foam Gun!

I usually set the ratio to the third whole on top then fill the canister 3/4 full of water first. I generally add 2 ounces of soap, screw it on and shake. Experiment with It. I went through all the settings and found this to be the most efficient for my needs.
