    Whitewall tip

Thanks for the tip Scooter, I'll have to give it a try. I've always used Bleach White with good results, but recognize that it's hard on the rubber and the clearcoated rims on my bike. Did you use the Magic Eraser per the instructions with just water, or did you use any other product?

    Newbie, rethinking products....

Bill, talking specifically about the Klasse HGSG since that's my sealant of choice; If you have the time and the inclination, a second layer will do no harm, be easier to apply and remove than the 1st layer, and will ensure a more uniform coverage. You will find that the sealant will bond well...

    Newbie, rethinking products....

You won't be dissaponted with the Klasse AIO. It's one of my personal favorites. You might want to try the Klasse high gloss sealant glaze over the AIO, (before you apply the top coat of the wax of your choice).

    Pinnacle Gel Wheel Cleaner

My wife and I just purchased a 2004 Pontiac Grand-Am for our eldest daughter, so now of course Dad's got a third card to clean and detail (I know, I know, Lousy job but someones got to do it). ;) Anyway, as soon as she stopped driving it long enough for me to grab the keys I set about giving...

    Air Tire Gauge

Digital is the way to go without a doubt. Good digital gauges are available from many Internet Vendors and can usually be found for <$20.00 Ranges are typically 5 to 99 psi in 0.5 pound increments.

    Burning question

Bill, It's not a case of how much time it'll take you to use the ASR by hand, but how much effort. Before I saw the light I would spend hours and hours detailing and polishing my wheels, and I was somewhat satisfied with my results. When I finnally bought my PC-7424 DA polisher from AG I was...

    Burning question

Bill, I have used Klasse AIO & HGSG after Pinnacle ASR with very good results. I always apply ASR by machine (PC) and the Klasse twins by hand. Then I top with at least one coat of Souveran paste wax. Red truck so the souveran looks outstanding. :)

    Green Machine

Surf on over to Amazon.com and check out the reviews of the BLGM, I think the consensus of opinion is that it's OK when it works. Seems to have a bad reputation for reliability. I've been doing a little of my own research on a portable carpet cleaners and suggest you take a look at the Hoover...

    Pressure washer for pre-rinse...safe?

My reasoning for keeping away from the pressure washer is that if the surface is really dirty, the tendency is to get in too close and for too long in order to try and remove the offending debris. At that stage the pressure washer turns more into a sand blaster, great for paint removal but not...

Cool, I would enjoy a road trip to Florida in the dead of a NE Winter. :) Might even bundle up and ride one of the two wheeled ponies down, it will need a detailing after a 1000 mile roadtrip. ;)

    Pressure washer for pre-rinse...safe?

I will be anxiously awaiting what the experts have to say on this subject. I too have a 2400 psi pressure washer at home and have used it on occaision on my pick-up after I've been off road and really come home mudied up. But I must admit it's really not that good at removing caked...
