First time DA user...should I start with an AIO like Blackfire TPnS or other?

You'll be hard pressed to find someone on this forum who isn't nice. Everyone is very helpful. I would do it by hand. Just pay close attention to results. Others may suggest air powered tools that a much smaller than a DA. But they are expensive. That's my take at least.

First time DA user...should I start with an AIO like Blackfire TPnS or other?

I certainly don't have a lot of experience, but I've recently started with exterior detailing as well. I bought a DA similar to you. I spoke with a member on the forum in length about how to start, what to look for, and techniques to learn how to work without causing damage. An AIO would be a...

    Exhaust tips

x2. The iron x and p21s left a flawless finish with little to no effort or scrubbing. No scratches either. I know DEEZUL doesn't want to buy online, but these products are cheap and super effective. Iron x comes in many sizes. Down to 50mL. Definitely the better option than steel wool...

    Exhaust tips

I had the exact same thing happen to my accord. Nothing over the counter worked unfortunately. At the advice from another forum member i used iron x and p21s polishing soap. Here are my results.

If you only had 30 seconds...

This is spot on. I do some light detailing for friends and family. Lately I've been detailing cars for people who work where my sister works. Vacuum, nice wipe down of interior, very minor paint correction (usually a meguiars AIO). I have a black car that's 3 years old. I keep the paint in...

    Xmt 360

It's a 2005 Honda Accord. The paint is gray. It's not terrible, but my ultimate goal is to bring a nice glossy finish back to the paint. It's just Dulled over time.

    Xmt 360

I have LC flat pads and plan to use XMT 360. What color pad should I use? I was thinking orange. I also have white. I asked a member before but the message got erased so I need to ask again. Thanks in advance.

    Rain-X

Well I bought it used, so perhaps the person who owned it before me had the windshield coated? Like I say, water reacts the same way on every window of the car. It's nice actually.

    Rain-X

Whalen the car is sitting still, the windshield looks the same as the side windows. Perhaps it's on all windows all the way around the car? And most importantly, does this coating ever wear off?

    Rain-X

What do you wipe them down with? Just whatever you're washing the car with? Thanks

    Rain-X

I'll have to do some research but I certainly appreciate the recommendations. Do windows nowadays have a coating on them? I have a 2010 and the rain seems to already react as if rain-x was on the windows, just not quite as dramatically. The water beads as if there's wax on there. But like I...
