    Sick to Stomach

I try not to piss off other people for the fear of retaliation. I feel like it's a lose lose situation then

    Sick to Stomach

Horrible feeling. I was in a parking garage once. And was sitting in my car. This guy parks next to me, and while looking me in the eyes swings his door open real fast and slammed right into my door. Huge dent. The only thing worse than coming back to your car and seeing a dent is watching it...

    Meg's "Black Wax"

Haha stupid question, I know. But it's not my car, it's a friend of the family. The last thing I need is for something to happen with it lol. Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully I get the results I did on my own car. My car looks soaking wet even though it's dry. Awesome wax.

    Meg's "Black Wax"

Can I use black wax for a goldish colored car? It won't mess up the paint or change it colors, will it?

    Thanks.

    Carpro PERL

I'm not applying it directly to the rim. I'm just wiping off the excess from spraying it on the tire. I just want to make sure it doesn't hurt the rim in the sense of staining them or something.

Can you get this stuff on rims ? Or is it best to keep it off?

    Car products on boats

A few questions: 1. Can you use car products in boats? (XMT 360 specifically) 2. Is the gel coat the whole thickness of the smooth covering over the rest of the fiberglass? (About 1-2 mm thick) 3? Can I use the same polishing and compounding pads on gel coat that I use on clear coat? (Orange...

    Carpro PERL

I went with PERL. I used it this weekend. It goes a loooong way. I diluted 1:1 for my tires. I only put one application and it gave me the exact look I wanted. It's also been raining for two straight days and the tires still look great and the water beads right off. Nice product.

Anyone tried the Chicago Electric Platinum 6" DA from Harbor Freight

I use the LC 5" back plate with the 5.5" flat pads. They were recommended to me from another person on AG. He does this professionally. I like them because they are not too expensive, easy to clean, and are very controllable when doing any sort of paint correction, polishing, or waxing.

    Autogeeked!!

I've had a 32oz bottle for almost a year. I've done my car (from seats, back seats, trim, under the hood) about once every 3 months. I've got about half the bottle left. It's something you wipe down the car with to leave a good finish. It's not a cleaning agent, so it doesn't go quickly.

I appreciate this response. I think you are spot on. I've just been using 303 aerospace to protect the leather. It's soft and comfortable. But the seats aren't soiled and if I spill anything I usually wipe with water. If they get to the point where the need some cleaning, I'll certainly take...

    Autogeeked!!

Does this work with vinyl coated seats? That was on an Audi which may have non coated leather seats. All Honda cars don't have true leather. They are leather seats coated in vinyl. From what I understand, leather cleaners and conditioners are a waste on Honda (most "leather" seats) because the...

Spray Wax as a drying aid...

Not sure what the air blow method is but I'm assuming it's using some sort of air dryer to help remove water? Regardless, I wash the car, use a water blade to dry the windows. Then I spray the wax on panels of the car and use a MF towel that's similar to a bath towel with regard to how it's...

    Autogeeked!!

I have a 2010 accord and 2012 pilot. Both leather. By far the best product I've used has been 303 aerospace for all trim and leather inside the car. Doesn't change the finish or leave a greasy feeling anywhere. Repels dust particles as well. Plus it's fantastic for UV protection. Anything that...

Spray Wax as a drying aid...

I prefer a spray wax as a drying aid because it helps minimize streaks and waterspots from improper drying. I have a black vehicle so this is imperative for me when drying the car.

Spray Wax as a drying aid...

I use Griots spray wax. Nice scent great results. My car is black and shows everything. But this product doesn't streak. It's available OTC. Decent price point. Spray on wet car. Dry with microfiber. Done. Just like feslope said. I haven't tried the others yet. But Ill try it once I run out...

    Meguiars ultimate detailer

I appreciate the information fellas. Very very informative and helpful. I'll just stick it washing the car with the occasional detail spray if it's not bad. The car is definitely too soiled based on what I'm hearing. I don't want to scratch it up since I just did some minor paint correction.
