thanks. I can see the pros to this, especially if its a job that may take a while.

:iagree: I like to change pads through the detail job and then clean them when done. You will see and feel when a pad starts to get gummy and caked with product.

I am curious how you work your hourly rate. Do you charge this for all detail jobs or only on certain projects? How do you estimate time and so forth? If it is a 20 hour project are you still charging $75 per hour? ...Just want to learn a different prospective as I have not charged hourly...

Ok. I worked on a vehicle this weekend that had dried polish or compound on exterior trim and on its Linex-ed rockers. I tried many different cleaning agents to remove it, but it was really dried into the pores of the plastic trim and the linex covered rockers. PB spray and rinse wheel cleaner...

I have detailed with success in 45 to 50 degree weather. Just use QD on pad to keep moist if air is dry.:props:
