    Heavy oxidation on boat?

I am starting to detail boats and have some questions... 1. How can I remove heavy oxidation from both alluminum and fiberglass boats? 2. I have heard that you should polish only above the hull...true? 3. Can you use wax or sealant on the entire outside of the boat or will this make the...

XMT 360 followed with DG 105?

I have seen a few detailers use DG 105 after xmt 360. Is this smart? 1. XMT 360 corrects, cleans, and seals. DG 105 is a cleaner and a polish. Wouldn't the DG 105 clean off the protection left behind by the xmt 360? Is this over-kill? 2. Does DG 105 need an 8 hour cure time- like WGDG...

What is this on this wheel?

Ok. I am working on a 2004 Chevy Silverado with stock wheels. There is a white stain on the wheels that cannot be removed with any wheel cleaner nor can it be felt with your fingernail. It seems like it is under a clear coat. What is this and can you do anything for it?

    Cyclo vs. Flex 3401

Is the Flex going to cut down on time for buffing and polishing a vehicle compared to the PC? I know the Flex has more power but will it buff an entire vehicle in less time than a PC...all other considerations being equal? thanks

Sully..thank you. Have you found a particular compound or polish working better with one car manufacturer more than another. Which ones? Which QD is good and economical? Do you use an all in one polish and cleaner for paints in good condition or do you stick with WG FG 3.0 with a low...
