I have been using the 3m stuff for years. It is OK. I have tried the M105 M205 for the past two weeks. I like it better, but how do you remove the dry film of the M105. It seems to dry quickly and requires a spray of water just to remove the film and a hard rug with a MF towel. Regards, Stephenson

If you have been using the Hookit 2 disks, just call the 3M rep. He will replace your backing plates free since they discontinued the Hook 2 and replaced with the Hookit 1, the change is required. You can get the reps phone number at any Body Shop supply. Regards, Stephenson

I agree. The Optimum spray compound does not have much cut. The sprayer will not mist (like shown in the video) but it does stream nicely. The problem is the sprayer pump handle sticks and when it releases the darn stream goes all over the shop, car and me. The good news is the sprayer , oops...

Is there a self centering pad available for the 5 1/2" backing plate for the Flex 3401? When I get my Lake Country pads exactly centered it is so nice. When slightly off center, it is like dancing with a less than trim lady. Regards, Stephenson
