    Best "filler" product/wax (temporary improvement)

Haha love the emoticon. I have some NXT actually. I just was never real impressed with it. I'm just going to go the Poorboys Black Hole + Natty Blue Wax route.

    Best "filler" product/wax (temporary improvement)

Yes, which is why I don't care about the longevity so much. This is a production scenario where I want to put the least amount of effort/time forth necessary and have the cars paint look the best it can. I'm normally a perfectionist and would never do this. The cars paint already looks better...

    Best "filler" product/wax (temporary improvement)

So like Poorboys Black Hole, Megs 66 will only be a temporary fix in that the swirls will start to slowly appear after a few washes?

    Best "filler" product/wax (temporary improvement)

Looks like Megs 66 is more of an all in one product, am I correct? I see that Megs also has another product, Megs 80 which is a speed glaze which from my interpretation seems to have more filler properties.

    Best "filler" product/wax (temporary improvement)

While were on the topic, why are some glazes designed specifically for dark vehicles? My new vehicle is kinetic blue pearl and I was thinking of using the poorboys black hole on it as well but it says that it's specifically for dark vehicles. Are there specific glazes/fillers for lighter vehicles?

    Best "filler" product/wax (temporary improvement)

I was looking at first using Poorboy Blackhole followed by Poorboy Natty Blue Paste Wax. What do you guys think? Anything is better than a 12 hour detail before selling the car to someone who won't know the proper way to take care of the paint!

    Best "filler" product/wax (temporary improvement)

This looks like the ticket! Poorboys Black Hole Show Glaze can be applied any time to hide minor imperfections and to enhance gloss on black, red, and all dark vehicles. Poorboys Black Hole Show Glaze is formulated exclusively for dark colored vehicles. The glaze cleans and fills light swirl...

    Best "filler" product/wax (temporary improvement)

Thank you, I will take a look at both. Both look like cleaner waxes though. I take it they contain enough oil and filler that they fill in swirls and give the appearance of a swirl/scratch free surface?

    Best "filler" product/wax (temporary improvement)

Short and simple, I'm going to be selling my black TL-s and I don't have the time or want to put in the man hours to do a full detail on my vehicle since I will be selling it. It had a full detail last spring and I've been very good to it since but because it has soft Acura paint, it still has...

Foam cannon/car wash shampoos that don't strip your wax?

Just curious where you got the pumps for the chemical guys containers? That would make things much easier to dispense the product rather than pouring it into a measuring cup like I have been. Thanks!

Knowing how much product is too much with closed cell pads

Since I'm relatively new to using closed cell foam pads vs open cell, I would like it if some more experienced members could weigh in on the correct amount of product to use. I presume it's less than open cell foam pads since they absorb more product "into" the pad vs keeping it on the surface...

CG Honeydew, Mr. Pink's, or Maxi-Suds II for Foam Cannon?

I use maxi suds with my pressure washer and the foam is THICK. It adds probably a good 1 inch coating of foam on the car. However, I called chemical guys and their customer support told me that MaxiSudsII will strip sealant/wax which contradicts what is on their website.

Foam cannon/car wash shampoos that don't strip your wax?

yeah what the hell....this was after talking to them directly on the phone too. So which dilution directions do you follow? I love when incompetent employees pass along misinformation as facts.

Foam cannon/car wash shampoos that don't strip your wax?

Sorry I should have clarified. I am worried about the Chemical Guys Maxi Suds II stripping my Blackfire Wet Diamond Sealant. Do I have anything to worry about as long as I maintain the 2 oz Maxi Suds per 32 oz water in my foam gun dilution?

Which MF towel for the "final wipe"?

What is everyone's favorite microfiber towel for drying? I use a standard meguiars waffle weave but it sucks!

Can you mix FG400 with FS4000?

I use Kevin Brown method with M105 and have no issues beyond dusting which isn't a problem because I just wash the car after I'm done anyways. I don't think you want to mix those two together. I have some problems with the FG400 turning into little balls on the pad. Wierd issue.

What to use on inner wheel well?

Surprised that nobody else here uses 303 Aerospace Protectant! I thought it was a household item.

What to use on inner wheel well?

I will soak some microfibers in Aerospace 303 Protectant and wipe down the plastic fender wells after they have been scrubbed clean from a car wash.

Acuras paint is obnoxious to work with

Rotary and wool pad with M105 on Acura paint scares me.
