    What is THIS???

Happens to every vehicle, but is much more noticable on silver and white paints. Wash it well, hit it with some Iron-x and follow up with a clay bar. You may need to do a quick polish afterwards, but should look good (if not better) than new!

    Car Scents

Customers love a good aroma when they get into their freshly detailed cars. I used ozium for awhile, but its cost and not lasting long at all did not impress me. Chemical guys scents, especially the New car and Leather are top notch in my opinion. Just a spritz of one, or both on freshly...

Previous owner wanted it matte black ;) Amazing correction though! Really brought the life back to that black paint. :dblthumb2:

    Rust repair on Trunk Lid

Being a 2013, unless it has serious miles shouldn't it still be under warranty? I had some bleeding/bubbling rust issues on my 2012 Ford Fusion and Ford took care of it no questions asked, ended up replacing my entire rear doors. This seems like a factory defect to me on a vehicle this new.

    Cleaning condensation in headlights

I had a fog light 2 years ago have the bulb come loose and condensation/moisture loaded it up and fogged the whole light. There was no way to wipe it down without opening up the housing, so I came up with another way. I used 91% isopropyl alcohol in a small very fine misting bottle. I got it as...

Good mechanic - NOT very good with detailing

Oh boy... Although, teaching people to at least put a coat of wax on their paint saves the clearcoat from failing as soon. I'm at the dealerships/detail shops quite often and hear people complaining how their paint failed within 5 years! My first question, did you wax the vehicle...ever? The...

    Road Salt Stains in Carpet

Ah, the joys of spring cleaning! Over the years of trying different products and techniques; I've found the sooner you get the salt up, the better. I approach the salt with either a diluted APC, or Folex at full strength. If it's a personal vehicle, I'll start spraying the hardened...

    Hello from Northern Michigan!

Haha! Like I said this was right about 4 years ago now, after venturing off and establishing my own company, a lot of what I knew changed for more cost and time effective approaches. My Fusion hasn't needed more than the normal wash, clay, sealant and wax in the past 2 years of ownership...

    Hello from Northern Michigan!

Kamakaz1961 - If this is what you're thinking of then yes ;) This was a full compound and wax, red paint was oxidized and dull from 2 michigan winters and all the dust/contaminants that come along with hauling salt, sand and gravel. Between polishing (by hand) all the stainless/polished...
