    Polish Plan for Altima Advice

I was gonna say this too, 6 hours should be sufficient.. God knows I wasn't that patient either. lol:laughing: As for IPA, It definitely helps! I used to never do it, but the sealants and waxes just didn't last as long as I would've liked. It's not that expensive either, so you don't gotta open...

    Polish Plan for Altima Advice

Well, I like your plan!... For the clay, I would say try the Meguiar's Professional Detailing clays, or the Pinnacle clays. Depending on the condition of the paint, I would stick with the yellow and white pad. Now, the Wolfgang twins would be the better choice over the Poorboy's.. I also am...

    Tornador Black

Well, I got the basic tornador, and if I go under the recommended psi, things go awry. So I would say make sure your compressor can maintain the minimum psi consistently.. As for replacement parts... On the first use, I tried to tighten the solution container, and the plastic cap stripped for...

    Detail: 69 Mustang GT350

Sorry for replying so late.. But this sounds pretty awesome, what you described was what I was hoping would be the case. I think i'll buy one and try it out. Do you notice if these become less effective after every use?.. Also mind if I steal this technique? lol

    rookie mistake

I would try to do the right thing from this point on, and raise the price. Which is what a pro would do. Continuing on, and doing the car for less than what you deserve, is in some ways catastrophic to your growth as a pro detailer.

Almost ready to pull the trigger

I would get it, on my white diamond tri-coat Cadillac Deville, it gave it this awesome shine; like a black diamond would have. I thought the same thing before getting it; "it's not good on light colored cars." But MAN was I wrong!... Come to think of it, I'm all out of souveran. I guess I might...

I give up detailing cars GOOD BYE

Hey man, I know how you feel. I tried detailing the interior of my car the other day, and with the sun and cold weather, the products wouldn't even make a dent in the grime... I really need to rent a garage.. By the way, good luck doing the interior outside too. lol :joking:

    Detail: 69 Mustang GT350

Good job man! Gotta love the '69 &'70 Mustang's! My father has been wanting me to detail his '69 gt350, but haven't gotten around to it.. But after seeing this, I think I might go do it this weekend. I gotta try those speedy prep towels too, do you think they're worth trying?

    Most regretted detailing product purchase

Everything Turtle Wax. Their paste wax was the first detailing product I used, I was 14 and went to the Carlisle National Car Show.. I went to go apply it to my dad's 68 Torino, and it just smeared and stuck to the paint. It wasn't in the sun either. It took about 2 hours to get off. We had a...

    shop vacs

you could go to walmart or any other major retailer and get a 5-6hp shop vac there, they have the suction of about halve the vacuums they offer at most car washes. I use them for my personal vehicles and they perfect. They don't suck the carpet too much where you have to pull it off the carpet...
