That makes perfect sense. I just figured that a dedicated Sealant would have more durability...How is the long term durability of the D151 protection wise?

I am just trying to clarify since I am still new to the whole detailing thing. I would basically use the D151 on a white foam pad and go over the entire vehicle, making slow passes with the product (just like a two step polish)?. When I was done with that, it would be clean, polished, and sealed...

What is the best ratio to use when using this as a Detail Spray? I mixed some of it Saturday while cleaning up the wifes car at 1:16 and it left a horrible haze and had to really be buffed off to look decent again. Did I do something wrong? Isn't the ratio 1:16 for the QD?

I personally have only ever used the Flex 3401, but I LOVE it.

More than likely the machine that you have is more of a "wax" machine and not a DA...it doesn't have enough power to "cut" in order to remove the swirls.

I am no pro by any means, but the vehicles that I have done so far turned out awesome. As close as you are man I have no problem showing you the products and helping you get your truck's paint in good shape. If you are only wanting to do this for your own vehicle, you could save a ton of money...
