Hi from Canada (will ONR safely clean this ?)

I hear you. Right now if I go to the car wash to rinse mine off, it may look close to that by the time I get home. I just have to grit my teeth until it is warm enough to wash it at home.

    MF towel question

I got some Jr's on BOGO a while back, love em for QD'ing. I like the indigos for removing compound/polish and waffle weaves for drying.

    My Newly Re-done Garage

If you haven't done the clear coat on top of the epoxy, I highly recommend it. It made a world of difference at our shop.

Good wax/ polish for old paint

XMT 360 on BOGO would be an inexpensive choice, with a da or by hand. Also DG 105 or 501 too for the white paint.

    what did i do wrong

Beware of the microfiber towels from the box stores. We were using some of the yellow towels from Sam's, probably similar to the pack from Cosco. We foung out we were putting swirls into the paint after polishing them out with Menz nano. We then switched to Cobra and griots towels and had...

    Need Advice on Initial Purchase

You're first order is always fun. Take advantage of all the advice and research on this site. You may find your second (and third, fourth, etc) order will come sooneer than you think with stuff you forgot or now "need" or think you need. Let the addiction begin!!

    Need Advice on Initial Purchase

I'd change "a few microfiber towels" to "a lot of microfiber towels" and maybe add some sort of nuba wax to top the DGPS and when you want to do a quick "wow" boost. I like the addition of the foamed wool pad too. Order looks great, I'm jealous!!:xyxthumbs:

Recommedations for entry level car to show

Thats one sweet Chevelle you have SuperSport. My BIL has a 66 SS 396 4spd in Marina Blue. As far as shows go, I prefer the 50's and 60's and 70's stuff, but to each his own. Money is always a big factor. The more I polish on my Nova, the more I need to save for a new paint job.

How to choose the right polisher for your detailing project

A few years ago I told my wife I wanted a buffer for Christmas. She went to the auto parts place (O'Reilly) and came home with that grey Chamberlain Polishmaster. They charged her about $180 for it and it was off the shelf and dusty with no box or manual, etc. Luckily, we got it returned for...

    Another red Taurus

Great job Sparkie. XMT 360 still amazes me and I just picked up a 3M headlight kit, but have not had a chance to use it yet. I also like DG Aquawax on wheels.
