    Suggestions for buffing marble?

What a coincidence. Yesterday, I thought the bath vanity top, which is cultured marble, needed a good buff and seal. Mostly fro make-up and hairspray residue from the wife. I thought of taking some XMT 360 to it.

    PFW pad on an ROB?

Unfortunately, all I've got now is an older Griots and an older PC. I do have a cheap Harbor Freight rotary to try. Maybe I will strap it on and practice on a POS driver or the lawnmower or tractor. My wife will definitely thin I've lost it!

    PFW pad on an ROB?

Mike, I wanted your opinion on using a PFW wool pad on a ROB mahine (Griot's or PC). Or are these best left to a rotary? Also, do you have plans in the works for a thread on the 54 Mercedes detail?

Got a chance to play with the Griots DA for a while....

Great review. We currently have an older Griots rob (like it but no changeable backing plate), an original PC 7424 and a cheap Harbor Freight rotary. I would love to get a new mahine, but can't justify until one of the others craps out.

    M105 or Powergloss?

We were priming the pads with product, then applied a circle of product, spread around and polished at speed 6 on Griots with moderate pressure for 3 to 4 passes. A spritz of water helped befor 3-4 passes with lighter pressure. I have spent a lot more time reading about paint polishing than...

    M105 or Powergloss?

Alldone Tuesday with an old model Griots DA, we also have a PC. No rotary at this time, although I would like to get one to learn, but not on this paint. I think we were trying to rush the process. This car is just so long and black and curvy and black. But, what we have done so far looks...

    M105 or Powergloss?

We sarted with an orange 5.5" ccs pad then went with the yellow 5.5" ccs pad. We then tried the 205 on a white 5.5" pad. We ended upwith the PG on a yellow pad, SIP on orange and nano on white. This seemed to work best. We were trying to go to a two step with the 105/205, to cut out a...

    M105 or Powergloss?

We were polishing the 59 Impala on Tuesday evening again. After not being comletely satisfied with the PG, I odered the M105/205 combo to try since it was the latest rage. I did like how it finished down better than the PG, but we could not get the amount of swirl/scratch removal from the 105...

Thanks HED, I thought Optimum polish would come up, based on research I've done on this forum, however, I was hoping for some suggestions of products I currently have in the basket.

    Longer working time from Powergloss?

I was just wanting to know what some of you experienced pros and others use to get a longer working time from Powergloss? Any tricks or secrets other than a water mist? Thanks, JK
