Will acetone nail polish remover work? and I'm guessing this will obviously not damage the clear coat

I just recently installed new painted badges on my car but screwed up the one and need to do everything all over again. How do I remove RTV silicone adhesive?? I tried straight rubbing alcohol and goo gone with not much success. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hey all, today I was doing my bi-annual heavy detail and was wondering if its of any use to layer a sealant? I started with washing with the 2BM, then clayed and polished with Menzerna Final Polish and LC orange. Car (black) looks amazing, never looked this good. I then sprayed everything down...

I went ahead and got mothers alum polish (liquid). It worked great. Polished everything up very well and now the exhaust has a great shine. Thanks for the suggestion

Hello all, I have recently purchased a used stainless steel exhaust system that needs a little polishing. It's in overall great condition, but has some water spots or oxidation or something on the tip that I would like to get off. What would you guys recommend or use yourself? Something OTC...

Thanks for your input. I washed it today when I got home, but the water spots are here to stay. Ill use 360 on lc ccs orange, after the spots are gone...ill put the two coats of dgps on again. I can just apply to hood and roof without a problem, right?

Hey all, thanks in advance for your input. I have recently completed full detail on my 06 mazda3. I used xmt 360 with lc ccs orange on speed 6 on all of the car. Then over 2 days applied two coats of wgdgps. Then rain comes today...I was not able to deal with it quickly and now have water spots...

I have a Mazda3 (jap car) and used XMT 2 with LC orange, then XMT 360 with LC orange (not same pad), and it looks awesome. Removed 95% of imperfections on my black mazda.

Hey all, Can xmt 360 be used with an orange lc pad? I would like to remove the remaining swirls and scratches from my car, but the white lc pad does not seem to remove them. Any special tricks to xmt 360 performance? Thanks for you help!

Hello all, Does XMT 360 need to cure for hours like a pure sealant, or could you put your wax on top right away? I was also wondering if you guys use any special application techniques for waxing... small circular, back n forth, or it is preferance? Also what does LSP mean? I've seen it used...
