Just for FYI if it bears on the conversation, I was looking into the IPA wipedown in an effort to prepare the surface for LSP work and not necessairly killing myself on inspecting the final product. If you go from polishing (say M205) and the next product has a cleaner in it, would a wipedown...

My whole swapping to a white pad or vice versa was simply a step in experimentation. I did not necessarily progress from black to white. It was just posted as FYI that both pads did the same thing. I did an IPA wipe and a sealer/glaze step before the LSP after I was done playing around.

No, but there was no dusting. Used a QD to get any 205 reminants off. Was not a factor.
