    Ever do a Test Section??

You guys eve do a test/comparison with multiple products on a panel just to see if you like the results or to compare one product to another??? This last weekend I detailed my dads Lexus with that new ('11) pearl white color. After correction and prep, it was topped with a final of two coats...

    Which shampoo?

Just recently ended up in the same situation...I just finished up a 1/2 gallon of the Pinncale and was looking to refill. Well, my dad is a huge XMT fan, so he got me looking into it. The XMT 1/2 gallon is 1/2 the price of the Pinnacle. If you really want the Pinnalce, it's awesome. Very...

    XMT Car Wash

Well...got to test drive the XMT this weekend. Very, very, very good stuff and Ted's review was spot on from my impression. I've not used a ton of other products to provide the educated response he did in his reveiw, but will simply default to everything he wrote about it. I used 2oz in a 5...

    XMT Car Wash

At a minimum, I'm gonna get the small bottle while it's BOGO give it a try! Ted...I dug up your review and made a request!

    Leather seat cleaning

One of the things I really enjoy about Mothers is it cleans with the best of them and dries completely dry within minutes. You can definitely tell there's no dressings or oils or protectants in the cleaner by the surface it leaves behind. Then their conditioner leaves a very soft surface with no...

Quick Review XMT: Gel Shampoo & Conditioner.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but; Great review right here when I'm contemplating a new shampoo; more specifically this one. Funny you complain about the insane price of the XMT...I'm considering the XMT because I just finished my bottle of Pinnacle BodyWork Shampoo...double the price of the...

    XMT Car Wash

Nope...I meant the XMT line made by Pinnacle. NXT was great also. Used it for a while but then switched to Mothers because I get all my Mothers stuff at cost. I ended up likign the Mothers every bit as good as the NXT. Neither of which suds and last like Pinnacle BodyWork. But the XMT line...

    XMT Car Wash

Sorry, but I have another "worth the cost" question. I've been using Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo and love the stuff. Time to buy another bottle and after talking to my dad, I noticed the XMT is half the price. He swears by the stuff. I would imagine this may be part of the whole system...

    Pre-wax cleaner?'s (I have Mothers)

I think there is some validity to the "system" approach, but I don't think too much thought is required in the cleaning phase. Mother's is a good one and it's currently the only "cleaner" in my cabinet at the moment.

    Topping a LSP

I'm mainly curious if I really gain anything by adding the MS on top of the WD, be it looks or protection. I don't know why I have this nagging feeling that I just have to put something on top of two coats of WD???!!! I also know it simply can come down to personal preference. I have yet to...

    Topping a LSP

So, I'm sure this question or one similar has been asked, but here goes. Started another thread about trying a different LSP process got me thinking of another question... Do you guys top an already LSP?? I use BFWD anyways and had topped it in the past with SSII and now thinking about trying...

    Clean or Polish

So I want to try a different LSP process on the vehicles. No paint correction is needed, so my question is what would you guys do to prep the surface?? I'm thinking a real quick clay and then deciding between just a paint prep/cleaner (Mother's Pre Wax Cleaner probably) or once over with the...

    Uti

My son wants to take the diesel course at UTI. Anyone have any experience, thoughts, inputs, anything on UTI or the course??? I have never heard anything bad about them and they boast a 70-some % employment rate for the diesel program.

    Review: BlackFire Wet Diamond Sealant

So if one were to purchase a tub of Midnight Sun from Autopia tomorrow, would it be the batch #25??

    SSII....Strike 2!

Yea, maybe. If four wash jobs on a practical garage queen isn't still considered 'prepped' paint, this may not be the one for me. If I have to switch, guess I'll be giving BFMS a try.

    SSII....Strike 2!

This may be a stretch, but does the application/removal time have any bearing on this performance?? Its been pretty warm, so the WOWO method doesn't always work out. By the time you get the hood covered, it's dry! Comes off super easy still, just didn't know if the wax hazing up on the surface...

    SSII....Strike 2!

Thanks Bobby, but that's basically already been done. If you re-read my first post, surface was properly prepped the first time and performance of the wax was phenomenal. This second coat is what didn't hold up for some reason and degraded the performance of the first coat. Re-doing all those...

    SSII....Strike 2!

Pinnacle Bodywork Shampoo w/microfiber mit. Mother's Showtime QD, but not for like a full vehicle wipedown, just spot cleaning.

    SSII....Strike 2!

So if you guys recall the other threads I started, I my first was a disappointment with SSII but turned out to be because I used in the winter with no prep and put it on top of other stuff. After using it following a norma spring cleaning, it performed awesome. Completely outstanding...

    Pinnacle or XMT Clay?

Yea...me neither. Been using Mother's exclusively for years and never had it fall apart or break down and never had it fail to do a superb job.
