    The next step

The Meguiar's SoftBuff pads are very nice. I'm using the 8" ones now and love them...much better performance and durability in my opinion than the CCS pads. Just make sure to watch out for things that snag them though as I just toasted my cutting pad yesterday by getting it a bit too close to...

    Liquid or Paste Wax

I like to use a cheap 12" random orbital IE the wax spreader for removal of liquid or paste.

    Liquid or Paste Wax

It depends. As an AIO I prefer to use a liquid so I can use the rotary, but as a topper, there's no better feeling out there than rubbing a nice coat of paste on a vehicle with a foam applicator.

    2001 integra before and after

Nice! NH-578 is a gorgeous color (I like it better than CW any day)! Have you polished the blades or is that the factory clearcoat? Gorgeous teg none the less! Are you over on Team-Integra at all?

    Q/D hog

I was just going to bring this up! I use QD's habitually on about everything (even my laptop gets a nice wiping periodically along with it's coat of souveran) and ONR QD really is a godsend to mix up/make. I keep 2 bottles of it made up at all times.

which is better wax or sealant?

Yup, Liquid Souveran is considered a finishing hybrid. Souveran paste is a finishing carnauba

    Pressure Washer Question...

I've actually put a hole through my finger with the jet stream on a pressure washer...dont ask :) Pressure washers are perfectly fine as long as you are using some sort of a fan spray. The needle jet can punch a hole through a tire though if you aren't careful, but most will be just fine.

Bug Report: Search feature in store

Hey guys, just wanted to see if I was the only one having this problem, but when using the search tool in the autogeek store such as searching for applicator pads etc. it cannot find anything and always brings up the "No Results" page. I've tried this in Firefox and IE and have cleared my cache...

Help with a booth at a car show

It may not hurt to have a few of the products you use setup on the table as more or less a way to say "Hey, I know what I'm doing and use the best stuff, none of the cheap turtle wax at wallyworld" Remember to put some LSP on the half of the corrected hood...people like smooth and slick, not...

    Update on little tom........

Tom - I've been praying for little Tommy and your family, and I really see where you are coming from with wanting to use your blood or a member's, but in my opinion, use whatever method which will get the blood to little Tommy the quickest. At the end of the day when he recovers, he really is...

    Curious about Paint

Really it depends on what paint system you are using. Any of the paints that I have sprayed with do not allow this. Many clears today are using a system in which the clearcoat chemically adheres to and bonds to the basecoat to prevent clearcoat failure/peeling down the road. This is why if...

    Spray on Glass Coating

Very cool idea with a ton of possibilities! The only real concerns I have about it would be A: how does it do in situations of high wear such as on the front of a car IE standing up to rocks/minor road debris and B: is it flexible enough to stay with the panel while it flexes without cracking...

    Interior Cleaning Help

The first thing I would try is some sort of foaming carpet cleaner at home as they're generally a lot quicker to get at first. If that doesn't work and you're doing it by hand, APC or APC+ would be good options that you can use everywhere. Remember that APC+ is designed to foam less than APC...

    Squeeze bottles for polish??

I really like the autogeek squeeze bottles outside of the damn red cap which I always seem to almost loose (but always find in the end). I picked up a 6 pack a while back and it works great to hold whatever products i'm going to use to do a job. I've got one for M105, M205, M9, M26, and Klasse...

I find that spritzing the pad with a bit of QD significantly increases the working time on the 105.
