Can’t get these stripes off my tires - help please!

Lean the bike over on a few corners and they’ll wear off pretty quickly. They’re far from permanent.

    Clear Bar, glue removal

The last one I removed was on a VW with hard clear so I used a Microfiber and CarPro Clear Cut. Results here-https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/auto-detailing-101-a/130072-clear-bra-removal.html?highlight=%93Clear+bra%94

    UV Protection?

UV protection is in the clear coat, some cars have better clears than others Toyota, Honda and Chrysler vans up till just a few years ago had the worst cases of clear coat failure. Heat, is a common stressor on automotive paint make sure to keep your hood engine insulation in good shape to...

HELP! What paint protection should I choose?

I totally agree with DesertNate. My first venture in to coatings was with CQUK and I found it to be really easy once I made it past the fear of F’n it up. I did find a high spot in the shadow around the license plate, it was easily removed with a little polish. I just put a very small amount...

    Expecting too much from coating?

As with everything “your mileage may vary” but I have 1 coat CQUK (prepped with Essence primer/polish) topped with CarPro Gliss on my daily driver that was applied just over 2 years ago(03/2020). The car is driven in Colorado and used all throughout the winter. I have always maintained it with...

I keep my front plate in the trunk on S-hooks if I park downtown. If the local constable pulls me over I’ve been happy to take a no front plate instead of one for possibly speeding.

    Ruined Powder Coated wheels?

I also forgot to mention when you do get the wheels cleaned up I would put a wax/sealant/coating on the wheels as this won’t be the last thing to “attack” your wheels. You spent some money getting the wheels finished to your liking go the extra mile and spend the time applying a coating to...

    Ruined Powder Coated wheels?

A quick call to the powder coater would be a good first step. Clear powder coating should be rock hard and should be fairly impervious to most chemicals if applied correctly. I’d also contact the car wash directly ASAP and give them an opportunity to fix the problem… Like I stated above...

I feel you, I struggled with adding pictures for a while. The Tapatalk phone app is a decent way to go until you get the hang of it. There’s also an edit post link at the bottom of your post.
