I just received my order today and noticed the Optimum Metal Polish product in the box was purple, instead of blue and it didn't have the "New Formula" sticker on the AG store. Can someone please verify if this is indeed the new formula version?

I really love this stuff undilluted for tires.

Über works great but it's too expensive for me for my weekly washes. If I had the money I'd buy gallons of it and call it a day. Diablo 1:6 does a good job for my weekly wash and really goes a long way.

I can understand you being worried about buying something without testing it in person but these type of products are very common in some product flying when closed. My practice is to use whatever you are applying the product to, like a MF towel or applicator, simply keep it close to the bottle...

No APC even comes close to Tuf Shine tire cleaner. Just wish AG sold the gallon concentrated version. My routine is to first clean with OPC then for the last step use Tuf Shine.

Try OCW (Optimum Car Wax), you will love it. I also have Pinnacle's new formula spray wax and it works great too but it doesn't last as long as OCW from my experience and is a lot more expensive.

For my weekly washed car I use CG Diablo. For really nasty, baked on brake dust, grimy wheels I use Poorboy's Spray & Rinse.

My package gets here Monday so I don't think I'll be getting one either. No biggie though because I saved about $40 on 6 Optimum products.

I separate my towels into 3 loads. 1) drying/glass towels 2) wax/polish towels 3) heavy soiled towels I only do my wife's and my car so they are all pretty small loads. I just put it on the small load setting and put in 2oz of BF micro wash.

Does Meg's APC clean tires better for you than OPC? I have a half a gallon left of Tuf Shine tire cleaner left and only use it as a tire LSP to make sure tires are perfectly clean. Lol

I mainly use it 1:3 for tires and now that I'm gonna use distilled water, 1:3 for stripping LSPs. Are you still diluting yours 1:4 for tires? I thought I had heard that in one of your vids. Could be wrong though.

Thanks you guys for the info. I'll just keep doing what I normally do with all my other diluted products and use distilled water for OPC.
