    Optimum Car Wash Dry Suds

I agree. I love this stuff and have never had any issues. This thread is to only find an explanation on the dry suds. This soap smells and cleans great.

    Optimum Car Wash Dry Suds

I've left the wash bucket sitting overnight before and the suds were still there. I was pretty impressed by it. I've never had it streak on me though.

    Optimum Car Wash Dry Suds

I've used OCW for a few months and love it. I've noticed, lately, that my suds in my wash bucket dry out very quickly. The suds are still there, they are just dry. I'm wondering if it's due to the harsher sun and hot weather. Has anyone else experienced this?

    Best Drying Aid?

Best drying aids I've used are PB spray & gloss and Optimum ID&GE.

Why is Opti-Seal not more popular?

I love and use Opti-Seal every couple of months for my headlights/tails. I use it to seal my paint every now and then.

Why I will never pay more than $20 for a wax!

Not to knock your $4 wax but if you took pictures before you applied the wax, I'm pretty sure the same shine would be there after all the prep products used.

Great job! Which wheel and tire cleaner did you use, if you don't mind me asking?

Went shopping for new washer and dryer last night... and that is when I discovered I have an extreme problem.

And here I thought I was the only one this messed up. Lol My wife placed the laundry soap on top of the washer and I cringed.

    Pinnacle Waterless the New Champion?

I have both and reach for UWW+ more often. If I feel like a nuba shine I'll grab the pinnacle.

    New spray wax

When using OCW I make sure the surface is completely dry before applying. As a drying aid I prefer to use Optimum ID&GE. After a wash I'll use my guzzler waffle weave towel to first completely dry all windows and mirrors. Then I lightly go over the body panels and leave about 25% of the water on...

    Waterless Car Wash Recommendation

I would recommend doing a waterless wash instead of the CA duster. If you insist on using it, I would not apply too much weight on the paint with it. Glide it where it barely touches the paint and let the fibers gently scoop up the dust.

    New spray wax

Another vote for Optimum Spray Wax.

is there a point to cleaning tires?

I don't worry that much about the inner side of the tire since the sun doesn't hit it all day long. I clean my tires thoroughly every wash so my tire dressing bonds to it properly.

    Waterless Car Wash Recommendation

I have Pinnacle's, Ultima's and Optimum's WW wash and they all work great. I've never gotten any scratches using them. Using a plush deep nap MF is a must. I usually use up around 8-10 towels when I do a WW. I have a mid-size vehicle.

Review: Daytona Speed Master PRO Wheel Brush

As always, great review, Dhaval. I currently have a Daytona speed brush, not the Jr. Would this brush be a wise investment? Or, should I just keep using my Daytona until it breaks then get this new one?

My boxer having fun with my Metro Blaster Sidekick

Thanks everyone. This dog is so damn smart too. A little too smart for his own good. He takes out the garbage in the kitchen piece by piece until he finds the wrapper he wants. Then he puts the trash back in the can carefully and goes outside to play and bury the wrapper afterwards.

My boxer having fun with my Metro Blaster Sidekick

I also love boxers. They are great dogs and really great with kids. We have 2 boxers and consider them our kids. :) This particular boxer my wife found living in her job site living in their bushes. He was starved and weak. You could tell he was brutalized by his previous owners. We took him in...

My boxer having fun with my Metro Blaster Sidekick

After a wash, and during my normal routine of drying my car, I noticed my boxer getting too close my my sidekick as I was blow drying my wheels and tires. He was giving it the look of "I want to eat you". I quickly turned the nozzle towards him to scare him away but he did the opposite. Well...
