Advice regarding paint correction on VW GTI?

After really looking at the images in your post and comparing it to my car, my car isn't nearly as bad as I thought. I'm thinking I don't even need the PF2500/Tangerine combo that you did on this GTI. What Menzerna combo would you say in general is a step less agressive that you would normally...

That's scary, lol. I'm going to still give some Meg's combos a try before I buy anything else.

Advice regarding paint correction on VW GTI?

I actually have Ultimate Compound/Polish. I've never used them. Honestly, I just remembered that I still have a bottle of both of them. I'm now considering giving that combo a try, and just saving the last of my M105/205 for my mother's car, which needs a lot of correction.

Advice regarding paint correction on VW GTI?

I've been hearing good things about HD Polish. If anyone else reads this topic, has anyone used it with Hydrotech pads?

Advice regarding paint correction on VW GTI?

I'm wondering if anyone can offer me some advice in regards to correcting my wife's 2013 VW GTI (White). Here's the skinny. We got the car in September 2013, but I haven't had the time to dedicate for a full correction process. About a month ago, I found some time, but decided that instead of...

What Car Shows Do YOU Watch on TV?

Re: What Shows Do YOU Watch on Velocity Network? I don't have cable, but I've watched tech toys a few times at my parent's place. I've also seen some episodes of my classic car on YouTube, and those are interesting.

    Any Amazon Prime members?

I agree with everyone about it still being a bargain. I buy enough from Amazon with enough frequency that I feel the 2 day shipping is worth it, even if Prime does go up by 50%. I know I don't need the 2 day shipping, but it sure has been nice these past few years. Money well spent, IMO.

Guys, any of you have extremely sensitive skin when shaving?

That's what I was looking for. Thanks.

Guys, any of you have extremely sensitive skin when shaving?

Ugh, I hate even thinking about shaving. I do it about every other day or two, and I am like most everyone in this topic by having sensitive skin. I only shave in the shower now with hot water. I can't stand the after effects otherwise. I'm also using Aveeno aftershave lotion, but does anyone...

    Wolfgang Rudolph Wax

I'm going to be applying this to my wife's car tomorrow. It's a white car as well, so hopefully it looks just as good as your Optima!

    Big Time Giveaway!

As a newly registered user, I'm honestly happy to find out that something like Detail Fest even exists. I've been to conventions for other hobby/enthusiasts things (gaming, comics, etc), and my favorite aspect of these conventions is to meet the vendors. What I mean by that is that I've...

How long can you wait to wash microfiber?

I have a mitt also. I forgot to mention that. Here is how my general process goes: 3 bucket method 1 bucket specifically for wheels I clean the wheels with car shampoo, wheel cleaner, and various brushes. I don't use any MF towels for cleaning the wheels. Rinse the car, then wash the car...

How long can you wait to wash microfiber?

I know it might sound dumb, but it's not the cost that I'm worried about. I just can never shake the feeling that I'm wasting resources in general. I try my best to not use anything in excess. Right now, I think I'll handwash the towels since they aren't too dirty. I won't actually do any...

How long can you wait to wash microfiber?

Thanks for the welcome! Generally, I use the only 1 towel to dry my car, which is a large Griot's Waffle Weave. I use Aquawax when I'm drying as well, so the one towel is all I end up needing. I end up using 1 or 2 cloths for my glass per car, because I have small cars. Both of my cars are...
