Coating is completely new to me but I do know that the surface needs to be completely clean. I still have a 1L bottle of Eraser. Can I use that for the first wipe then do the 2nd wipe with WG Perfekt Finish Paint Prep? I only picked up the 16oz bottle.

I also have a quick question... I've never used a coating before. What do I use for on going maintenance? WG Uber Rinseless @ detail spray dilution? WG Spirtz Sealant? Thanks! How hard is it to apply this coating compared to WG DGPS3? How long does a syringe last after breaking the initial seal?

We've had a few years of draught but this year they are saying it's going to be a big El Nino year. If it's true I'll definitely use the DP Turbo Dryer to dry the car when I get home every day! hehe. If not... I'll just bring a generator with me to the coin op and dry my car after. j/k!

I have no idea why I even purchased the DP Turbo Dryer since I live in the Bay Area where car washing is not allowed. I guess I'm hoping its lifted and not reinstated in March 2016! Heard so much good things about HD Speed that I had to try it. It sure smells good!

I agree that it's not rocket science. I've done many electrical work before as well. I'm trying to figure out what exactly is causing the failure. Is it just bad soldering? Yea I meant to say GG6, not CG.

Great video Joe. It's always nice to see how others are cleaning their vehicles in the Bay Area. I've been using the Gary Dean method but recently picked up the rinseless wash mitts. I'll give that a shot this weekend.

I also have the Grit Guard universal pad washer and I use DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator. I use just 1 scoop for the bucket. DP Polishing Pad Rejuvenator

I've used D156 and WG Spritz Sealant and love both of them. I can't decide which is better.

Just did some searching on Meguiar's forums and Michael Stoops said anything between 1:128 to 1:256 is safe for rinseless. To strip wax you have to be at a much higher concentration ratio.

Does D114 really remove waxes and residues? I currently have WGDGPS 3.0 on my car and use D114 weekly. Am I removing WGDGPS 3.0 and leaving my car with no LSP? I use D114 at a dilution of 1:128.

This past weekend I also attempted to apply PBL Glass Coating for the first time. The garage was around 65 degrees and I did not use Eraser or 20% IPA after using PBL Surface Cleansing Polish. What's the best way to remove everything off my glass and start over? I've never used coating before...
