    Having issues with my prices

Hmmmm well I do 3 to 5 an hour at $30 bucks......which is really good money to me. Plus it keeps me busy doing what I love. Was just a suggestion.

    Having issues with my prices

I agree with Shawn. Your correction prices are very cheap. I know as detailer's we always want to avoid the "car washer" stigma that sometimes comes along with it. But you have to keep in mind that every car you "wash" is a potential "full detail" customer, as well as a reference for you. I...

I Need A Good Thought From All You AG's Out There!

I can very much empathize with you. I have been very ill through the past 3 years and have yet to determine why. My heart goes out to you and your family. I pray that you can be at peace and be encouraged. Much love from my family an I.

What should my detail price range be?

I agree. When starting out its best to set your prices "fair" for the work and results your getting. Work another job and detail part time. You will get just a few bites at first but eventually it will take off.

    Shamrocks Don't Rock

I have 6 of the black border ones. Have washed them 10 plus times and they still lint terribly bad. Also own several other cobra towels and have noticed less linting with them.

Thinking about buying a steamer...opinions please

I heeded your advice Stephen and got me a steamer as well....while it cleans super well i still think the extractor is needed in some carpet cleanings. Using them together produces awesome results as well. The steamer will destroy the stains but the extractor actually pulls the dirt out.

    Burning Paint with PC 7424

The surface had something on it that caused the paint not to bond to it when it was paint. Most paint burning you will see will burn through the layers....that just grabbed all the layers and moved them over. Definitely a paint defect and the dealer will probably fix it no problem. You can just...

Rubber Trim, wiper arm, and Plastic Detailing

I use PB Trim Restorer and 303 Protectant. Letting the PB dwell longer really helps as well as a couple applications to bring it back to life. 303 works better on harder plastics for me. For some areas I use the half inch foam brushes that are like 39 cents. For wiper blades I usually correct...
