Well, just for the heck of it I picked up a cheap palm polisher at HF today. Gonna convert it to hook & loop and try a Griots red pad. Maybe this weekend I'll try to hit the MKX with a coat of Z2 or DG105. I know my GG6 is a great machine but I just wanna see how this works for wax and sealants.

That thing looks pretty cool for getting even pressure on a foam pad compared to doing it by hand. I have a GG6 but was just checking to see if there were any decent hand polishers out there I could try. I just think a little orbital would be perfect for applying sealant.

Griots Spray on is available at Advance Auto. $14.99 gets you a big 22 oz. bottle and online codes can make it much cheaper. Pretty good product that I've been using for about 3 years.

Duragloss products are available at a few national parts stores. I sometimes grab some Aquawax at Carquest.

I could be wrong but I believe 303 should just be sprayed on and left to dry. Not sure why you are rubbing it in with a Microfiber. Maybe that's why it's not working for you. I just sprayed on a single coat a few years ago and it still beads liquids like crazy.

MPBGT, How long does Fabric Guard last on interior surfaces? My initial application seems to still be going strong after 2 1/2 years. I would think that seating surfaces would eventually need another application.

I'm also going back to Z-2 after spending this last year with the 105/601 combo. The DG products look great but fall behind in the durability department. Gonna try the Z-2/601 combo next month. I really think Z-2 is an awesome product at an awesome price.

Can you attach some kind of scrub brush? Can it be used to sand wood or metal?

If you put wax over a sealant, do you have to completely remove all the wax before you put another coat of sealant on in the future? I'm in the habit of sealing my truck with Z-2 three or four times a year. Wouldn't a wax interfere with a sealants bond to the paint if not removed?

I never understood putting wax over a very durable sealant like Zaino Z-2 or DG 111. I would think the Aquawax would enhance the look of whatever sealant you are using.

Grease & wax remover always seems to work best for me when removing road tar.

I applied 303 when I first picked up my 2011 Edge with cloth seats. I noticed that it was still beading melted snow this winter. Pretty good durability!!!!

Can you comment on the application process? Z-2 goes on like butter and is really easy to remove. I find the 601/105 more difficult to apply and remove. I'm guessing Z-2 is easier to work with because of the long drying time required. After comparing the 105 to Z-2, I'm not sure if it's worth...
