hmm is the white meguiars smooth surface clay considered an abrasive clay? because i use it as often as needed. its mostly just the hood and front bumper that need the claying once every few months if not more often.

wellll i got impatient lol. i just washed my hood, clayed it because it needed it, and then applied opti seal with the yellow foam applicator. i love the way this stuff looks and the surface of the car feels like glass. tomorrow i am going to hopefully top it with natty's blue.

haha mine just came in today as well! this stuff smells straight up like rubbing alcohol. lol i hope its not just rubbing alcohol.

it looks good! but i think you need to do more stuff to the car to compliment the tinted tails if that makes sense. like maybe blackout the inside of the headlight housings and then some black rims with a chrome lip. that would really set your car off in my opinion. but it looks great!

yeah "best" is definately in the eye of the beholder. but from my observation i would say if you want the best of the best (in most if not all products) you should steer clear of products u can pick up at your local autozone. boutique products tend to be better in every sense it just amazes me...

the pinnacle one is the one im using actually hehe. it works great. the towels feel just as plush. when it comes to the pads i only got staining once i used pinnacle finishing polish. there is a very soft pink circle on the pad lol. i dont mind it i just dont want the pads/towels to be less...

so some of my white pads and some of my microfiber towels are stained but they are still clean. they are soft and plush but just stained. the pads feel the same as new but stained. am i losing any of the effectiveness in my microfiber towels and foam pads??

i dont think it has muted the reflection. if you look at the first picture there is much more sunlight in the background, and in the second picture there isnt. the lines of the things being reflected appear to be just as sharp just not as bright because of the lack of sunlight.

well i guess i was just wanting something OTC i could get to strip previous waxes. what would be the most optimal choice? my car doesnt really need polishing.

yeah the deep crystal process is junk. but we were all noobies at one point lol. i dont really need any swirl reduction or anything of that sort. i just want the previous wax stripped.

ive heard so many horror stories about dawn im paranoid to use it. i dont have to do any polishing the surface is pretty much good and free of contaminants and smooth as glass. what about a heavily concentrated nxt wash? like 8 capfuls for one gallon lol.
