I would give it another try. I've done plenty of applications including all of my family's vehicles with no negative effects. I have always prepped with G4 and have recently switched to using G4 on the Rupes Skorpio with MF pad for prep. Transmitted from the Dream Detail studio.

You definitely got a bad application, this sounds typical of an application where not all of the residue was removed. To remove the coating, use a glass polish and a DA

G1 is still the preferred coating on the windshield. This is due to its resistance to wiper-blades. The best combination is G5 over G1, sheeting as low as 25 mph. :)

I've ordered from the UK quite a few times... never had a single borked bottle. They use a lot of bubble wrap, even for small items. :xyxthumbs:

For best protection, use over C1 but it can definitely be used by itself. From what I have read, 2 years durability but if well maintained, up to 4 years.
