Has Optimum Car Wash changed? The stuff I have says 1oz per gallon.

I have seen some marring after clay, but what I saw in the pictures and videos for this product seemed excessive. It looks like they are working on a less aggressive version, so others must think the same. I like the concept, but I don't think the execution is quite there yet.

From what I can see in the pictures and videos, it leaves behind a lot of fine scratches. I can't see that saving much time with the extra buffing you would have to do. I'm not a pro detailer, but as a customer, I would be upset at losing clearcoat so the detailer could save time.

On exterior trim and tires (used full strength) the appearance diminishes just as fast as other products I've used. However, looking at the way the water is beading, it looks like the protection is still there even after a couple of months of car washes.

I used to feel the same way, then I got old and out of shape. After a day of cleaning down to the paint and correcting a few defects, a quick spray and wipe gets me back to the couch faster. I probably keep my car better protected since these are so easy to use, I do it once a month.
