well i can understand upgp taking 6 hours or so, on clients cars i can get to it ASAP then work on the rest of the vehicle while its curing and then speed wipe it or whatever but how do you guys do multiple coats on a vehicle on customer cars? do you come back or..? i think im gonna do one of...

i think ill just use PPP then UPGP then wax and drop the glaze

normally i don't even use it but the cars were well maintained and they dont need to be polished, just some light imperfections so i decided to go with it

ok thanks for the informative post. this is not for personal use but for clients cars, i was going to clay, PC applied glaze, then seal, the BH has fillers so i dont think it should go on top of UPGP? and someone told me that on the UPGP instructions it said full cure is 6-12 hours

after reading some reviews on performance and on the ease of use and time saved, ill definitely be ordering some UPGP...i made a thread about this earlier but i didnt mention the upgp in it, would it probably take longer to cure on top of the glaze im using?

well thats good to know...ok and even if it can be driven but what if it gets wet or rained on?

i was told that PB ex-p takes 48-72 hours to cure...are there other sealants that can cure faster than this while applied on top of Black Hole or White Diamond? I really need something no longer than 24 hours And im talking about enough time to cure to be driveable without harming the sealant...

yes the polish will turn black if the surface is polishable, i just ordered poorboys wheel sealant myself after reading some pretty good reviews on it

i was just using some megs deep crystal that i had left, i thought that letting the wax sit longer would make it harder to buff off and it would cause what i mentioned? and spraying a QD after the wax would not affect the sealant if i were to apply it?

yeah idk but i just ordered e-xp instead...but i need some pads for the BH and i was wondering if i should use a gray pad on the DA instead of blue for added pressure since the black hole uses fillers?

ok thanks, i could only see them under the sun and they were only visible from certain angles, at other angles they werent visible, i thought thats what holograms were but i can just spray the QD after the first wipe?

im positive they werent there before...i was using CG super towel microfibers to remove it...i just think it wasnt removed all the way...ordered some cobra indigo towels for next time, thanks

i dont see why, there were holograms in the pattern than i applied the wax...i just removed them with a QD... i get what youre saying bobby but i still dont know exactly what caused it...because i dont see how having to rub hard to get it to come off would cause holograms?

is this because the wax dried and sat for too long on the paint before being removed? or too much product?

what about topping it with DPPC? it says its supposed to go directly onto the paint so if i use the DPPC over the black hole will the sealant not last as long?

well im sure it could if it was that rough of fabric...but its not being rubbed hard on your paint or anything and like i said the back side should be softer than the outside

a scratch from what....the car cover? or are you asking if its going to protect the paint from scratches? if youre talking about from the actual cover then no..the side you put on the car should be soft or furry or whatever they use it should pretty much give you a good buffer against anything...

damn so if it comes off that easily then how do u polish it? just by hand?
