you honestly think people without disposable income set money aside to have their car detailed? why limit yourself to a certain group of people...why not cater to everyone, the types of people that you are trying to reach are automatically included if they pay to have their vehicle cleaned

aside from being on older vehicles, what is a way can you tell for sure if it is a single stage paint or basecoat/clearcoat paint?

you can do what i did and just go around to the detail shops in your area and see what they are charging with what services and the kind of business they are getting with the combo

without polishing? i do great work at everything else and i will be ordering a flex 3401 soon and a PTG but i want to get some decent experience with it first before i start adding it in..do most people usually get their cars polished? atleast their first time...or should i just wait till i get...

well i wasnt talking so much about the being cold part as the water freezing on the car part..or is that what youre using the space heater for? and i dont understand how you could wash in the garage lol...oh ok a no rinse wash ...but how about on really dirty cars? wouldnt that scratch the paint

lol pretty sure he means microns not mils..and im pretty sure they have ones that can read multi layer on composites so maybe for corvettes, viper gts or other high ends that arent metal.... and judging by the approximation that i posted how can you tell what grit a polish is?

yes but obviously most people cant afford it and 99.99% of people who regularly polish autos arent going to have one thats 3k..so you just polish and hope there is enough clear left? because to my understanding the affects wont even be apparent until later unless its a complete strike through

even with a PTG i still dont see how you could tell how much clear is left...if all your doing is assuming that a certain amount of clear remains

if you dont have heated location how can you wash cars without water freezing on the car? or do you just try to do interior jobs

how do i know if its safe to polish a vehicle? not knowing how much the vehicle had been polished in the past, repairs, etc. because eventually if polished too much you will affect the base coat even if its not complete strike through?

i dont know if i should get business cards and flyers and what not right now..because i still work a full time job and i cant afford to give that up until i have a clientele base and some extra income saved...at most i can do 3 cars/week right now so that may be wasted effort for right now...

i actually know someone who has a roll n wash van who has some contracts with car dealerships...just bid as low as you possibly can i would say and if thats still too much for them then oh well because thers no money in it.. just keep it real basic with a wash and dry vacuum interior wipe down...

and can other waxes/sealants be applied right on top of the XMT360? right away or how long should i wait?
