hmm.. good find, how long do these sponges last typically? i could potentially see some problems with dirt accumulation in the sponge because they cant be folded like clay? i cant seem to find a place that sells the elasti-foam, id like to check it out if anyone knows

looks like the aztec is what most people are talking about in this thread...its way smaller and about 15 or 16 pounds i think...60psi pump and 102" lift .....but the rug doctor would most likely create more suction because of the CFM

idk the specs of a rug doctor but there are much better alternatives...you pre-treated the stains and they still wouldnt come out? ok so i see it has a 28 psi pump which is pretty low...you prob cant get to the bottom of those stains with that much pressure...lift is 101" which is good tho

im pretty sure you can use tap water also and use extractor defoamer in the recovery tank...wipe away any suds before extracting the area..suds can screw up motor...use a system maintainer periodically, it de scales and de limes everything

i think pricing upholstery or carpet by severity might scare some people off without even calling because they may think its going to be too high?

only reason i wanted to go cheaper is because it seems like around here mobile detailers are going cheaper and just using inferior products...i don't use any consumer grade products but alot of customers just dont care i guess about using good product or it looks good enough for them without it...
