Question For those experience in Zaino AND other LSPs...

Get my Zaino and Duragloss locally, so that makes me happy. Maybe I have old lots or something but AW smells nothing like Z8

    Got oil changed

It's just oil. Are you driving in extreme conditions? Do you know why people run synthetic? Buy the oil in whatever weight you need. After that, get a test kit from Blackstone and get your oil tested. Blackstone Labs

Anyone use LED Work Lights instead of halogen?

I use LED's and Halogen for different things. I use the LED's because it shows the slightest hologram because I feel halogen won't pick those up as well. I use the halogen to show swirls/scratches.

    Wheel wells

I will dress them with either CG's Back to Black or 303 Aerospace Protectant. For tight wheel wells, either get a jack and jack the car up (safety/insurance issue could happen), or maybe locate a slim/thin brush.

    Anything better than Leatherique?

Easy. Rub on Rejuvenator. Let it do its job for 18-24hrs or however long you want. Clean with Pristine Clean and a MF towel. I use garbage/plastic bags because it creates a steam room effect and helps open the pores of the leather. Plus, I like to do the leather in the beginning of a detail so...

What's the proper way to clean foam pads using Dawn Power Dissolver?

Pour some Dawn into a 5 gallon bucket. Put your pads in (make sure they are submerged) and I let mine soak overnight. Next day, I will rinse with warm water under the sink. Put them on the rotary to spin dry and then lay them in the sun to finishing drying.

    Chemical guys

I use a little bit of their stuff. I normally will stray away from it because they have 15 different glazes, 40 different APC's. Too much of the same stuff with a different label. Maybe some MF's, EZ Creme Glaze, and Citrus Wash. That's about it.

How can I clean my lake country foam pads?

I actually have a 5 gallon bucket full of pads now. Warm water + Dawn or Snappy Pad Wash stuff if I have any. Let it sit overnight and then wash them out in the sink. Hate it.

Do you sit, crouch or use seat when correcting doors and trunks?

Trunks, if I sat, I feel like it might be hard to reach it... Im the MAN I sit to do the lower panels. Sometimes I even lay down. A lift would be nice.

    Eliminate Steps in Detailing

If you could eliminate any steps in paint correction (not interior work), what would it be? Let's keep it to 1-2 steps. :xyxthumbs: Mine would be: - Washing pads after polishing - Polishing front/rear bumpers I don't mind claying as I get instant gratifications that the surface is becoming clean.

    Applying Glaze

I see glazes as having to purposes. One, to fill fine scratches/swirls. Two, to enhance the appearance of the paint after polishing it.
