I have both thoes pads and havnt had a problem. I would think that the softer a pad is the more absorbant it woud be but that just meant it spreads better. a lot has to do with the type of product and the speed your using too.

Not a fan of the color. Should have shown it in Black or RED....JMHO nice looking car though and WICKED fast

I just got a whole new batch of MF and haven't seen an issue yet either. I just wash them in cold with tide (and 1/4 cup vinegar in the rinse) Seems to be working for me but then again I was drying them in HOT too before I found out they were scratching my car. Figure since I have all new towels...

The flex is the best of both worlds! Better than a traditional DA WHICH WILL STOP when extra force needs to be applied for tough corrections, and not as distructive as a rotary if your new to the detail business.......the FLEX 3401 is defiantly something you can grow into and continue to learn...
