I keep quick detailer/waterless wash, glass cleaner, interior cleaner, 303 stain remover, bug & tar remover and 2-4 MF towels.

I have Opti-Glass coating on my DD, still performing like day 1 after 6 months.. For easy application, don't use the supplied yellow applicator! Optimum dual pro applicator or lake country coating applicator are much better.

Mine do the same thing and if you search here on the forum, you'll find many negative reviews of them! You have to cover it right after every use.

Yes I'd say the pre-soak step with tide free&clear helps a lot but if they're not very dirty, you can try skipping the pre-soak step and see how will they come out.

I soak them for an hour or 2 in the bucket with leftover ONR and add water and 2oz of Tide free & clear then to the washing machine (low heat) with 2oz of 3D towel klean.. I use 6 or 7 white plush towels for rinse-less but they come out clean and soft after the above method.

Donno about the regulation there but I think polishes and compounds are ok, I know you can't take aerosol products or harsh cleaners with hazardous sign on the bottle like Sonax full effect.

As said above your car was not cool enough, try ONR @ QD dilution or even more OCW as Setec said.. If that didn't work, try OPC @ 1:3 dilution
