I use strictly folded MF towels. Whether soap or rinseless wash. No two bucket method anymore.

Black polished to perfection, sealed/waxed How to keep it that way?

1st I'd skip the cover if it's garaged. Very good chance you'll scratch it just putting the thing on and taking it off. Secondly I believe you can't avoid some light scratches especially on a black car, one of which I have. So just be ready to give it a light polish once a year, no biggie

    help please!

Man, I really hate to see this happen to folks. especially someone who clearly cares about and takes care of their vehicle like you do. I am by no means an expert, but I have had my troubles with paint, so here is my two cents. it looks like something corrosive landed on your paint. who knows...

    which wax?

Love love love Collinite. That being said ...any wipe on walk away polymer sealant is goning to apply way easier, shine better, and protect/last longer IMHO.

Give us your best Detailing invention or service idea

No, the wash area would be more moderately priced (although I think some premium is in order for being indoors). The detailing area with electricity, proper lighting, vacs, maybe even tool rental would cost more.

    NOTHING will protect this Accord!

IMO...It's not you, your cars paint, or your prep. Opti-coat 2.0 is a great product, permanent, hard, and durable, but in "most" cases it's a lousy LSP. All you need to do is use a spray on polymer sealant on top of the OC2, like Garry Dean's Juice Boost or Wolfgang Spriz sealant and your GF's...
