Two bucket vs Garry Dean wash

I've seen a few folks here mention the time/expence of washing towels, but don't you wash your mitts after every wash? My solution to that probleme was these: "Detailers Choice Spa Buffing Towels". These things are not good for much but they are ridiculously cheap and super soft. I have got...

Two bucket vs Garry Dean wash

I also use both methods for rinseless and foam wash, always 1 bucket.

Two bucket vs Garry Dean wash

I'm now totally committed to the 1 bucket multi-towel wash method promoted by Garry Dean. Saves me the better part of an hour for washing. Just wondering if anyone has tried it but didnt like it. Or simply "wont" even give it a try and your reasons why. Thanks

Kids playing near my truck is worrying me

I truly feel for you man. My situation was similar, only they were accually coming into my driveway. I just went ahead and acted like the cranky old neighbor. (I'm 41 btw) IMO it's the parents fault, they see were their kids are playing. They know kids have no concept of the value of other...

New bubbles forming in aged factory paint

Out of the blue. Wish I'd taken a pic or went straight the dealer for correction.

New bubbles forming in aged factory paint

OMG! same thing on the C-pilar of my 2011 370z! mine eventually cracked open and left a 1/4 inch hole in the paint!

    Waterless wash

Try some Infinite Use Detail Juice. It works fantastic, and the super concentration makes it "I think" the most cost effective wash on the market right now.

    What now?

You might want to try a different machine/pad/polish combo. Different paints respond to different products and or techniques. For example my 05 Sorento(white) likes M105 or M205 with the flex 3401/orange pad for correction, then Optimum finshing polish with the PC/black pad speed 5 before i'm...

Washing a vehicle with a COATING...what did I do wrong??

I had the same problem with my 2 opti-coated cars. I'm sorry to say but imo opti-coat is at best a ridiculously absurdly difficult to apply product. And at worst a total hype. It did nothing it was supposed to do. No beading, no shedding of dirt, no etching or marring resistance. Not easy to...

Paint Still Rough After Claying & Compounding???

The nanoskins ship with a protective coating, and won't work correctly until its warn or washed off. This may be your issue. Good luck.

    Bugs on the windshield

I use Garry Deans beyond infinity sealant on everything, not just the glass, and bugs come right off. If you want to make short work of them and don't yet have ant protection, 0000 steel wool with soapy water or some other lubricant is as fast as you can get. I find glass is easy because its so...

    Full bucket for rinseless?

I made up a bucket of Garry Deans rinseless (2 gallons) about 4 washes ago. Still have 2 or 3 more left. I use 3-4 towels on the paint and glass and one for wheels. Hung up my grit guards, this is a little faster, and it's gotta be safer.

In Love with the 3401 again

Thats so funny, I just dusted off my 3404 not 2 weeks ago, having forsaken it temporarily for a PC, rotary 1 2 punch. There are just so many variables when trying to get that jaw dropping final shine you've got to have a full arsenal.

Product Review: Meguiar's Bug Splatter Sponges

This looks like a very effective product, however after many years of fighting those darn bugs with every chemical, sponge, and technic I could find, I yelled uncle. Now i'm that guy who gets out of his car with bottle of detail spray (Garry Dean's Infinite Use Detail Juice) and wipes the front...

Making the move from da to direct drive

Just be aware if your using a rotary, as a beginner, you will very likely have to follow it with a DA to get rid of the holograms. However if you go with the 3401 it'll cut almost as fast and leave none.
