I think its the right thing to do to call the dealership to let them know, I know I would appericate it if someone bought something from me and it was defective.

    Griot Closeout sale

I started buying thier products on rainforest store due to the free shipping and I have a prime membership - I would AG would do something similar. I would buy more from the site. I like the Speed Shine, just bought a gallon at AA, and it was 27 dollars. I also like glass sealant, leather...

    Collinite leather and vinyl wax

I am interested in using this product too - I have been using Griots and now switched to 1Z, but Collinite makes such good products I want to test this -

Redundant brands? - DG, Collinite, others.

Sometimes the old stuff works better than the new stuff... But, the question I have, is how can there be 3-4 lines that AG has? Wouldn't there be some kind of overlap? And the difference in products? I am sure AG must have these produced by another company, but I am surprised there is enough...

What to top CG Blacklight with?

I think Collinite is more of a sealant- I know that BL doesn't last as long as Collinite so I like having the extra protection -

    Sealant?

I use 845 on my wheels and use 476 on the body as a sealant, base before any other layers, after prepping the paint. I top 476 with Pete's 53- just tried topping with 476 with Blacklight and then Pete's 53, absolutely dripping wet. I found using Collinite as my base layer offers the durable...

I don't know why I waited so long (first wax!) long

Nice Car! I like Pete's 53 as well. I use it on top of either Hart Glanz or Collinete 476 and it works beautifully. A nice topper, always looks really wet for weeks afterwards.

How does this order look? My first detailing "kit"

I am surprised that no one said anything unless I missed it - But I am not sure if you need AIO and 845- 845 is more a paint sealant - If using AIO I would top with a Nuba. Unless you are planning on using 845 for you wheels, this is what I do.

    Optimum Opti-Eraser review

I used the fine grade today for the first time on both cars and thought that it worked very well. I also used PB's spray and wipe as a clay lube. There was some grabbyness but the paint was soooo smoth afterwards. A great product!

    1999 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder (Trashed)

Wow you really turned that car around- there was no way that guy was going to sell this car in the previous condition, unless he was asking very little for the car.

    Which collinite should I order?

Like other have said neither is a bad choice, I like 476 topped with either Max Wax or Pete's 53 - I apply to the entire car by hand and wait 1.5 hours before removing.... The removal is easy, especailly with a DA.

Applying Carnuba Wax on top of Collinite 845

I have topped with both Max Wax and Pete's 53- I think Pete's looks better....

    Distilled white vinegar for microfibers.

I do this because I was disappointed with the results of microfiber detergents. I didn't think the special MF soaps were really doing anything. We already make our own all natural laundry soap, so I figured I would try Borax with some vingear and my towels came out way cleaner than they did...
