I am planning to take advantage of the memorial day sale to buy some waterless/little water wash product. I normally wash my car (the whole double bucket wash jig and then either wax or qd the car) every other week. I don't travel far to my office and have basement parking at office also...
Budman - two quick questions:
- how much polish do you apply to the pads to get those results?
- how much time at speed 6 or how many passes over the area on speed 6?
- how big an area for each polishing iteration?
I am in the IT field and have first hand experience with Dells, HPs and Sonys.
I'd suggest going with an HP. Best ownership experience I've had among all Laptops I've ever had.

Going back to my first time experience - I understimated the time required to get a good finish. A PC is safe but at the same time it translates to more work time to get the results one desires. My advice would be to chop the work across weekends.
Practice a couple of combinations on a portion...

I used meguiars scratch X on my golf set drivers head - found out to my dissapointment that they don't clear coat these suckers....what were they thinking !!:confused:
The place I go to has signs specifying no bucket wash when more customers present....don't you run into that when people come up behind you and start waiting...How do you handle that?
