    Prepping CCS foam pads...

Sounds good, I'll give them a quick cleaning then. When I go to use them can I use them dry? or should I prep them with something? It seems I heard that spraying a little water on them is the thing to do. brad

    Prepping CCS foam pads...

Do I need to do anything to CCS foam pads prior to using them? Like use a pad conditioner or spray with water? Or is that only if they are stiff? Also, they're brand new so should I wash them prior to using them? thanks Brad

Poorboy kit purchased...need some help though

Can somebody walk me through the steps that I need to take to effectively use the poorboy kit I purchased? What pads did you use with what? and did you use the SR1 first? or after the SSR2? etc... And what steps should I take to maintain the paint after doing the Poorboy application? Should I...

How does this look for my first order? My car's paint is in very nice condition overall....typicall light swirl marks but that's about it. Looking to get started with a UDM now though. UDM base model for $150 and add on the XMT light swirl removal kit for $75. This seems like it will get me...

Can I use these with a PC or UDM?

Is it generally ok to use cleaners/wax/polishes with a PC or UDM that are intended to be applied by hand? Or is it necessary to purchase chemicals designed specifically for machine applications? thanks

    Prep before polish/wax job

OK, you guys have convinced me to move forward with a UDM. Before I start using it on my jeep, which just received 2 coats of Liquid Glass by hand, what should I do to prep the paint prior to using the UDM on it? I assume I have to remove that Liquid Glass and get the paint as clean as possible...

    Scared to death!

Sounds like everybody is on the same page here....my confidence has been boosted...thanks! So let's say I go with a UDM pr PC, I could see using it twice a year maybe? I assume it's not good to over clean/wax your ride? If it's fun enough to use I could see myself waxing my car every...

    Scared to death!

Hi everyone.... I'm interested in picking up either the PC or UDM machines but am absolutely scared to death of using one. I'm afraid I'll fire it up and completely trash my paint. Either burn it, or scratch it beyond belief....you name, I'm scared of it Should I be? Are they really easy to...
