back to top... so question. I just bought some of the Optimum car wash. you guys are saying to put 1oz of the car wash per every gallon. so if you filled up a five gallon bucket it would be 5oz of car wash. but on the AG website it says you can use an ounce or less to wash the entire car...

like mentioned, try the smaller pads. don't work in the polish for too long or you could be making more work for yourself. work in 2x2' areas. and yes it takes a looong time. don't' go to a more aggressive pad unless it's absolutely needed. hey asphalt, just curious, how long does it take you...

that traveling detail bag they have would come in handy in all my cars. Instead of having small bottles, and microfiber thrown in the back and glove box,they could be in their own case.

it's somewhat hard, although I use a little DP 4 in 1 in the wash solution to help with the hardness. I don't have a foam gun but maybe I can use a mixture like that to help with the presoak and spray it on, doesn't TAW remove wax/sealant though??

I use the pinnacle tire gel. I like the way it makes the tires look, matte with a little bit of shine, it can be buffed off or applied again to achieve a diff look. The end result is clean, new looking tires. my.02

the 6.5" pads aren't useless, they can be used, it's just that the 5.5" pads provide better correction ability. I think thats what Rsurfer meant

Pros: cleaning ability for sure, I like that I don't have to sit and scrub forever to get the parts clean. Cons: dwell time. If your in a hurry and the car is pretty dirty ( the white car) just spraying and wiping wont get it clean. You have to be patient and let it sit for a good while...
