The brake cleaner over here has cleaned the calipers fine and the de greaser i use is not acidic at all.... but understand many different products about..:xyxthumbs: Ill keep my mouth shut.....:laughing:

Had no issues with Iron-X on the wheel weights just cleaned them no corrosion issues and no issues on chrome here either. As mentioned i would have concerns about Iron-X through a washer but if rinsed well after hope there would be no issues...:xyxthumbs:

De greaser is cheaper than the brake cleaner but brake cleaner self flashes. Brake cleaner is perfectly safe for the seals...:xyxthumbs:

Feel for you and hope you get it sorted. The wife works at local hospital as a Nurse came out to find huge dent but the only area where no cameras and the damage could have only been from one thing the local council refuse truck. No way of proving it for us though....GGEEERRRR
