    Poorboys Waterless questions

Hell AGO folks, I've got a couple of questions regarding Poorboy's waterless wash. I used the waterless wash for the first time yesterday and I had mixed results and wanted your expertise, tips and tricks. 1. I used almost half the bottle on a Honda Accord. This seems excessive, but I wanted...

Collinite #845: The Definitive How-To Guide For This Legendary Wax

Here's what I use when I apply Collinite #845. Every bottle should ship with one of these in my opinion! :xyxthumbs: Or AG should offer a 845/bottle warmer bundle! Just pop the original 845 bottle in the warmer and in a few mins you can give the bottle a short shake and you're ready to go...

1st time polishing, about to buy Griots kit... Do I or not?

Just a fellow hobbyist throwing my .02 cents in here, but I have the Griots polisher and it works fine for me. I only polish 2-3 times a year and it's fine for that level of work and I've never wanted anything more powerful. Of course I've never used anything else, so who knows - they're...

What was your very first car you owned?

Re: What was your very frist car you owned? Wow, what are the odds - my first car was blue 1976 Datsun B210! I admit, it was a hunk of junk, but a free hunk of junk given to me by a family friend. I drove the hell out of it, never changing the oil, never washing it. It was a beater that...

    Car wash in the dark

Ha, nice! We need to start the "AM detailers club"; coffee and cleaners. We clean more dirt by 7am than most people do all weekend. Anyway, yea, I'm glad the time change is coming soon. Nice mustang by the way! I came very close to buying a 2011 GT stick. Lol! Yea, I can't imagine turning...

    Car wash in the dark

Good idea. I'm going to try a DuaGloss rinseless wash next time. Not only is it dark in the mornings, but it's getting colder too. Dragging the hose out to the driveway in the dark and getting wet is no fun in the cold months.

    Car wash in the dark

You know you're into detailing when you wash your black car before work in the morning. In the dark. I'd show you pictures, but uh....it's a black car. In the dark. It probably sounds crazy, but I've washed it so many times I know the exact routine (top, trunk, sides, etc) so I wasn't too...

Mobile Detailing, what to use for shade

I had a 10x10 pop up I bought at Wal Mart for $50.00 or so. I left it up on my deck last summer when I was working on a home improvement project. Unfortunatly a late afternoon sotrm came through and flipped it over and bent all the aluminum legs, so I need to get another one. Most of the time I...
