Beautiful Chevy.

My grandfather served in WWII. I still have some silk aviator maps of Japan he gave me. I wish he was still around, I'd love to talk to him about his experiences in the war.

I have that exact same car in the same color - great job! Mine doesn't look nearly as nice since it got run into in the parking lot of Costco and had to go to the bodyshop for repair. The buffer swirls are horrendous and I just need to find a weekend to break out the M105 to polish it out...

Gorgeous! I've got a black 13 Accord Sport that needs a polish and wax. Unfortunately it got dented in a parking lot and I had to take it into the bodyshop. They fixed the dent - but good Lord the buffer trails they left behind are awful. M105 to the rescue in a month after the out-gassing is done.

I used to use Black Hole glaze topped with Collinite 845 or Natty's Blue paste wax on my 11 Charger. Always looked awesome! My new black Accord will get the same treatment - IF IT EVER STOPS SNOWING AND WARMS UP!

I used a chamois on my 11 Charger - swirl city. Switch to microfiber towels for drying. As others noted you should polish first since you have some swirls, then wax/seal. Collinite 845 is my go-to wax. YMMV. ** EDIT - Nice Tans Am! :)

I wash them with some left over soapy water and a Mothers fender well brush, then dress with Griots undercarriage spray.

I can't speak to the wet sanding, but I've used Poorboy's Black Hole Glaze, topped with Collinite 845 on my previous black car. But I would do that in between yearly polish jobs. As a daily driver it would pick up small swirls and the glaze would really help to fill those in. But if you're...

I try and keep it at 80-90%. Another black car here, so it's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it, right? :) It gets washed and vacuumed weekly, and waxed monthly. Usually there's a spring or fall light polish and deeper detail. But I don't go crazy with over-detailing either. I think...
