I bought these pads to use on my nephews black Dodge Ram pickup truck. I wanted to try these pads on my car first to see how well these pads worked with the 3401. Also wanted to see how well the pads finished using a medium-fine polish.

Finally had a chance to use the Lake Country microfiber cutting pads on the Flex 3401. Polish i used was Sonax EX 04-06. Using these pads on the 3401 does take some getting used to. I found that if you tilt the polisher up just a tick instead of perfectly flat on the panel works pretty well...

If you want to go with 476, have at it. But if you are on the fence as far as trying something different, I would go with WGDGPS. Very easy to apply, wait 45 minutes to an hour to haze, effortless removal.

Was not aware of that. I know microfiber pads aren’t recommended for rotary Polishers but according to lake Country rep that did a video with Mike Phillips said they can be used on any DA polisher. Are you sure. Reason I’m asking is I just purchased 4 microfiber pads and if they’re not...

Keeping with this mornings theme, how about polishes and coatings.

Are you applying by hand or machine? If by hand, imo you probably wouldn't see a difference. If by machine, you may see a very slight difference in gloss but, i wouldn't get the 3800 if i had just bought the finishing glaze. Wolfgang finishing glaze is an awesome finishing polish.

Would buy 5 classic muscle cars, take care family, donate large sum to various veterans charities and, Children's Hospital of Phila. Also build a state of the art detail shop.

I also have carpro essence on back order. Received e-mail from AG telling me the status of order 2 days after placing order. Shipped balance of my order next day, will ship essence when it arrives this week. Great customer service.

I would also like to know how well essence plays with hybrid finishing pad on Flex 3401.
