    Recent Fuzion "first timer"

For what it's worth...these are some beading shots of Fuzion a week after application and the wash...and the car was dirty... That one coat easily lasted me more than 3 months and was still beading nicely. The only reason I re-waxed was because I wanted that super slick feeling...

    Recent Fuzion "first timer"

Depends on the weather you're experiencing. Down here in FL where we don't have snow and ice, we could easily see 4-5 months (I saw this myself at one point). Up north where you have snow, ice and salt...it would be less. If I had to guess...I would say maybe 2 months and then it starts to...

    Recent Fuzion "first timer"

I would take a touchless wash over salt and dirt any day of the week my friend!

    Recent Fuzion "first timer"

Yeah...you guys do have crappy winters up there in IL. Touch-free will help to get the salt off...but the chemicals they use will deteriorate the wax quicker, so you may have to end up re-applying at some point to be on the safe side.

Great choice in a wax! You should see a good 3-4 months of durability from it since it has some polymers in it; unless of course your winters completely suck lol. Winters down here in FL are pretty easy on waxes. :)

? About WolfGang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

I believe it's also true with one of the Zaino products, though I can't say for sure as I've never used any Zaino products besides their clay. For the majority of the products out there, they aren't really "layer-able" lol.

? About WolfGang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant

Ahh...WGDGPS...such a good sealant! I haven't used it in a while, but I remember it looking fantastic and lasting a good while. I would definitely let it cure for at least 12 hours before topping it with anything. I also wouldn't go past 2 coats of anything. The first coat will bond to the...

    Polish Plan for Altima Advice

Check out the detail I just completed this weekend. I have a 2013 Altima, before that I had an 09 370. My wife has an '11 Rogue and my in laws and sister-in-law all have Nissans that I've worked on...

Wash again before the second coat of sealant?

Most sealants (at least that I've worked with) have required a 12 hour cure period before adding a second coat. I wouldn't wash the car again thought; at most, I would mist a MF towel with some QD and give the panels with dust a quick wipfe. My car is garage kept, so I've never worried about it...

New Car Detail: 2013 Nissan Altima - 2 Step Correction

You know...I'm not surprised it took that much work to get the paint looking good because I watched the detail guys clean my car with a long handle brush. Should I have let them wash my car; probably not, but you pay that dealer prep and delivery fee...I may as well get a wash out of it. And...

New Car Detail: 2013 Nissan Altima - 2 Step Correction

I picked up the Fuzion when it was on sale for $100 and a free refill. I actually used Fuzion on it for the first wax and it looked great. Lately I've been leaning towards my carnauba collection versus the sealant/synthetic side. I would be careful with applying so many layers. Sealants need...

New Car Detail: 2013 Nissan Altima - 2 Step Correction

Thanks man! I could have been a bit more aggressive and chased after every little defect, but this is a daily driver and I need to leave some clear coat for future polishes lol. I'm pretty sure we have the same color...it's such an awesome color in the daylight. Too bad I couldn't top it with...
