DLUX on bare aluminum wheels getting water spots

After coating they sat for a few days before they were mounted on the car and a couple days later they saw rain for a few days. About 9 days after the coating they were washed and that`s when the spots were noticed. They should've been cured and OK for water at that point since the cure time...

DLUX on bare aluminum wheels getting water spots

So I coated some brand new wheels with the center section being powder coated and the lips being bare aluminum. After a week of some rain they were washed and saw the lips being covered in water spots, but not the center section. So what are my options here, try UK3.0 instead of DLUX from now...

    Facebook Detailing group?

So let's just let them do and say whatever they like because trying to moderate the page is difficult? That's why it's the way it is now. Either way, it's still not Facebook's fault.

It's not Facebook's fault that the AG page is crappy, blame the mods on there.

    Coatings and Sealants question

Your best bet is to do some reading up on the different products out there and look at the reviews. Asking what is the best or what you should use will only get the answer from people in what they personally like using. No single person knows what the best product is for every situation, they...

Is Anyone Else Tired of All the Ceramic Pile-Ons?

Most detailing products are just marketing and hype, and those that have been doing this for a long time know this well. There are a small number of products that work as advertised without any gimmicks. As far as ceramic products, yeah it's saturated, but they are marketed for the regular...

    3” polisher purchase

That's odd because I've had the exact opposite happen to me. The rotary mode is unusable because it just keeps stopping all the time. I can't go for than 15 seconds or so without it just stopping with the red light turning on, really frustrating. I just use it in DA 12mm mode permanently and...

    Black friday sales!!!!

Yeah, that was a bad move. UPS really sucks. With how bad UPS is, it would be nice to get orders shipped the same day like most other competitors.

    Shipping rant

What annoys me is when you order something and they don't ship it out the same day, but wait for more than 24 hours to ship it which just adds 2 days to receiving time. Anytime I order anything and need to decide between different sites, I look at the one that says same day shipping and go with...

    Griots g9 broken?

GG always emails a return label. I've never spent a dime to send them any polisher for any reason. I haven't used my G9 yet, but if it has any issue I'm not worried about them replacing it without a single question.

How did they give you a hassle? They're supposed to be no questions asked and never gave me a hassle on anything so I'm curious what they said to you about this.

    Griots g9 broken?

It's only something to do if the polisher stops working all of a sudden. It's something a lot of us found out many years ago and solves most of the issues instead of shipping it back under warranty. BTW be glad you have that lifetime warranty so you never need to worry about anything.
